In late May, Tom, Maggie and I will head north in our new home on wheels. Our current plan: Tennessee to Canada via Sault Ste. Marie, then across Canada to the Alaska Highway. Enter Alaska at Skagway and leave through Chicken after weeks on the Kenai Peninsula and in Denali National Park. We'll leave Maggie and the Cruiser in Whitehorse, Yukon, and tent camp our way up the Dempster Highway to Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk. After putting our feet in the Arctic Ocean, we'll return to Whitehorse and head south through British Columbia to Vancouver and Victoria Island. We'll cross back into the US and travel south along the Washington and Oregon coasts and into California to Yosemite. Finally, we'll head back cross-country to Tennessee, hoping to be home by Halloween.
