I'm glad you had a safe trip to Nepal. Sounds exciting. So does this mean you will be leaving the sweltering heat for the frigid cold of the mountains? Can't wait to read the next blog.. Take care.. D

Alyssa and Andrew: Great to hear from you! Kind of a relief, as I was also gettimg a little concerned! So sorry that you both had a few rough days healthwise....hope that both of you are okay now! I guess that is something you almost have to expect, traveling where you are. I love reading the blogs you are writing, and seeing the pictures! Sorry, I have to be a little like a mom...please don't push yourselves too hard, and try to eat as healthy as possible! All my love, mom.

Alyssa and Andrew, it is great to hear from you, as we were getting a little worried. From what you describe it is not the healthiest and safest place to be in the world. Just be careful and make sure you eat and rest. Other than sounding like a parent, I just want to say that reading your blog is very interesting, and I'm learning a lot from you both. And it looks like the Ganges River is even dirtier than the San Francisco Bay! Take care, Dad

We are enjoying your blog and the pictures. What a great learning experience you are having. Wish I could be there too! By the way, the Celtics are playing the Lakers in the NBA finals, but I imagine that is not a real priority there.. Have fun!
