re: We miss you... great to hear from you Trish! I miss you guys too... I keep thinking about how much I want to be at the pool in this heat!
send around some big hugs for me at the pool and tell everyone I say hi! :)
We miss you...but glad you're having fun! Hi Tami...
Wow...MAY!!! You are a crazy woman!!! I am thrilled that you are having a great experience. We miss you at the pool. We talk about you lots...in a good way! See you soon...Trish
cuidate
thnks note: looks like senior portraits might be in black and white in the yearbook... unfortunately
thanks for the input mom!
oh and also i was talking about going out and taking some in the dunes (which are quite northern chile looking haha), but we didnt end up getting around to it... if im out that way i certainly will though (its just that im pretty sure it takes two collectivos to get out in that area so its easier if someone drives...)
senior portrait Of the first 5, I like no. 5 best for a senior portrait, although my favorite by far is no. 9! They are all good pictures of you, but no.1 has too busy a background, no. 2 has big knees in the foreground, no. 3 is too green and has distracting white pillow and knee and hand in the foreground, and no. 4 has a cluttered background and shadows on your face. No. 5 has good light, and a simple and pleasing background. I would crop the top so you see only grass and maybe crop your foot off the bottom. That said, I would like to see some shots that look like you are in Chile... like with the desert in the background or something...
re:whoa! well to tell the truth Jack and i actually met a while ago at Nati´s house... it was magical... running around, playing ball.
haha
and i still don´t know! I´m waiting to hear back...
patience is a virtue... patience is a virtue... patience is a virtue...
hehe thanks mom :)
haha yeah that was the point... isnt he adorable though? i loooove those boxer noses, when he greats you he does this SNUFF SNUFF sort of thing and then gives one of those big sloppy dog smiles where they open their mouths big. adorable!
Wow! The straight hair is amazing! I, of course, like your curls better, but it is fun to see it straight! And you had me going there for a minute about your true love...
my hamster yup... at least until i leave... at which point i´ll give her to one of my friends... which is going to cause problems because more than one want her.
she´s a great little hamster... tiny (as you can see) but surprisingly intelligent. she comes to the edge of her cage every morning to great me when my alarm goes off, and she comes when called to take treats!
spelling... yes! i forget words all the time... and it´s terrible because my friends will always ask me how to say something in english and i can´t remember for the life of me! and writing college essays in english too.... >.< but i am having a really really great time, and it´ll still have been worth it even if i forget all my english!
Such is life as an exchange student... Hey Tami! I love reading your blog, it looks like you are having a great time and making the most of your exchange! And I can Really tell because your spelling has gotten worse the last couple of entries! Have you started forgetting words in English yet? It'll only be a matter of time...

Cute! hahahaha quatro looks almost like those lolcatz pictures, like he's going "oh you guys, you're embarrassing me, stop!" and throwing his hands/paws up in embarrassment. very cute.
re: viva la cueca great to hear from you mr Mock!!!
Its not always simple, but im definately enjoying the different pace of life here... there is a certain simplicity to it. and a passion for life and celebration that I´m also really enjoying!
viva la cueca Tammy,
It all looks wonderfully fun, how simple life seems there compared to the crazy times here.
Can't wait to have you back and hope you are having a good time. Thanks for the great pics of the fiesta.

The adventures of an ex-exchange student:
I spent a year living in beautiful little Copiapò, Chile as a YFU exchange student... and started this is as my blog of life in the Atacama Desert.
Then I spent a year back in the states studying Social Work, and I am currently back in Chile hoping to finish my degree here... and who knows where life will take me next ;)
