Hey Laura. Life is great. Life in a condo is even better. But life in a house might be the best, you lucky thing. Land, yard, garden! Congrats to you and your new digs. We are currently remodeling one of the bathrooms, so let us know if you wish to borrow tools, materials, know-how, etc. Spank Mark on the bottom for us. Much love. Dud & Val
yo. His Holiness at Kalalau? Nice. It was definitely a fantastic spot. I don't know if any of those we met were regulars...but they were definitely characters. How are you guys these days? Did you buy a house?
Kalalau Valley Yo Hippies. I spent many winters in Kalalau. I hope you met some of the regulars, like Uncle T or Mayor Ronnie. You know the Dali Lama visited the valley and called it the intersection of all parts of the Universe. Hope all is well. Dudley & Valerie

Hello! Hi, I found your blog while searching for all things Necochea. I hope you enjoyed the city! By the way, the concrete structure you photographed is the Muelle de Pescadores (Fisherman's Pier), which is supposed to be demolished in the near future. Good luck and enjoy your travels!
Felíz 2009!! Deseamos de todo corazón que se encuentren bien y que este viaje colme todas sus expectativas.
Un fuerte abrazo .

Bariloche to El Bolson Hey, we didn´t miss by much. I left Bariloche a couple days after Christmas. The hike up to Frey was awesome. I´d recommend doing a multiday trip up there and going to several refugios. I´m now in El Bolson staying at El Publeto, which is awesome. The road here was not bad. Once you are out of town a ways there are still cars and trucks but the amount of traffic seems OK. I´ve seen at least 3 couples cycling. One even had a kid trailer with a kid! There are also some great sounding refugios here. I´m going on a 5 day trek starting tomorrow into the mountains next to El Bolson. I´ll let you know how it goes... Bill
Awww you named the last post after Jackson! (had to say that before Peter did). We'll toast you two tonight, we miss you. I'll update my blog with the latest craftiness tomorrow. In the meantime, tell us how the Uruguayan barbecue goes. Happy New Year!!!!!

You are an alien! Is that tan skin I see? For an Alaskan, that's pretty alien...you look great! I miss my traveling tan...it went away so quickly when we returned.
