Autumn in Italy. Sounds like a page from 'Under the Tuscan Sun', however, Tuscany was not yet on the itinerary. Glistening sea and staggering cliff sides, twisting turning narrow roads, staircases to the heavens, ancient fishing villages dotting the rocky beaches, terraced villas seemingly suspended in mid-air, this was what we had dreamed of. As we settled in at our new home for the next two weeks, we were astoundingly rewarded with a sunset that blazed in colors of fire reds and pumpkin oranges, fucshia pinks and royal purples. And as the sun melted into the mountains of Capri off in the distance, we opened our second bottle of wine and smiled the smiles of Cheshire cats, pleased, happy, and oh so content.
