Adventure and a half Well your trek sounds absolutly amazing im not sure how physically i could handle it, not atm anyway i would need to prepare a fair bit before i even left australia before i think i could face a trek through a forest. What do you sleep on along the way and do you just go toilet anywhere you feel the need to ?? Everything sounds so cheap especially that track, wow thats like next to nothing for been looked after having a guide and been fed lol. The bamboo boats sounds like a real laugh, oh well atleast you got to experience the real thing.

Beryl's Work!! Mate Hi, I have been following your adventures with great interest. You have visited some fabulous places and some of your stories have been very interesting and entertaining. Keep writing and posting your pictures - which are fab. Thoroughly enjoyable x
General Thoughts Hi Kathryn and Sonny,
Have been following your fascinating blog. Sounds like you are having a fantastic time, except for the tummy problems, which I hope are now over! The pictures look terrific and can only imagine what the real thing looks like. You are really having a 'trip of a life time'. I have enjoyed sharing your trip via the blog with you both and look forward to the next instalment. Where too next!??!
Take Care.
Love,
Bill
ROLAND Hi Kathtyn Sonny, enjoying reading about all your adventures. Can't wait for the next episode. Fancy Roland sneaking in your rucksack and following you all the way to India !!
Hi guys,
So glad to see your having such a good time.
I know your off to Goa soon. If you get a chance to go to the place where you can wash the elephants and also ride them too. You do need to get there early but its definatly worth it and it will be slightly cooler. You may find some of the shacks on the beach are starting to close with the season coming to an end but I highly recommend a beer or two on the beach at sunset(beer o'clock as I've named it). As everything is so cheap and if you do have a love of sea food I would say try the lobster coz its so fresh and tasty and not even close to the price back home.
Cant wait to see your next instalment.
Love to you both,
The Perry's, oh and Steve

Welcome to our travel blog!
We should have started this a long time ago as we've pretty much covered Europe now.
However this is going to be our big trip, for Sonny going back to live in Australia and for me to emigrate to Australia.
We met in Oz 4 years ago and he followed me back to the uk. We have been living in the UK for 3 and a half years but making regular trips to different countries in Europe to keep our travel bug at bay.
Before we start our new life in Australia we thought that we'd travel for nearly 5 months stopping off at Italy, UAE, India, Sri Lanka and South east Asia.
