Sabadai-ii from Vancouver It was really nice to hear from you. We have got back from our trip in late September. Since then we have not got a chance to look back our pictures yet. So we enjoyed reading your itinerary a lot! Have you made it up to Phongsali? We stayed in Muang Khua for a 3 days trekking and we found much more then we were looking for. We had there an amazing experience in the tribal villages, so we never went up to Phongsali. How was it there? Where are you now? Are you in Australia?
see-you
Excellent Glad you enjoyed the islands, especially the Gatliff Trust hostel. Looking forward to the next installment, as part of my own prep for a trip.
you're not going to come back! Hi Steve,
Good to hear about your adventures. As always, you're having a great time and by the sounds of things you might not ever come back to the uk!!
Take care,
Jonathan

I remember wkaing up on day 2 and being sang happy birthday by all of you. And what a treat to get this wonderful massage after the trek? I wish I could still be travelling but all good things ocme to an end. Enjoy the Australian experience!

pissed :-) dearest of dear steve, how could u have written the coconut milk tastes awfull ?its one of the best thing we have in kerala...might be that u had something in ur mouth before drinking it . and i tell u that is not the way of drinking it(with the straw)u got to to press down ur lips to the hole and gulp it down at one go !!
and u got it dead right when u wrote " If you intend to visit the backwaters of Kerala I can recommend taking
.a leap of faith and simply jumping on a local ferry without really knowing where it is going"
hope u would come back and then we can have a bucket full of coconut milk...lovelly snaps and the writting itself was accurate and precise.

My name is Steve and I live in Berkshire in the UK. I was talking to Dad one day about amazing places and sights that must be seen before you die when it suddenly dawned on me. It had been 8 years since I started working for Rubicon and it was time to do something different.
So in April 2006 I decided I would go travelling around the world and so far I've visited Scotland, India, Thailand and Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Australia. Keep up to date with my travels by subscribing to my travel blog. See you round the world.
