Santiago, Chile

Photo permission
Dear Sir, I am an editor in the Distance Education section of the Victorian School of Languages in Melbourne, Australia. This is a government school providing instruction in eleven languages. Students pay a small fee and receive four Workbooks with accompanying CDs, a designated teacher for fortnightly oral lessons on the telephone or via video-conferencing and access to materials on our website. I would like to know if I could have permission to use the photo of Santiago on the website (http://www.travelblog.org/Photos/1092407) in our Workbook for students of Spanish. This material would also be accessed by students on our website using their unique password. The source of the photo will of course be acknowledged. A few of our Workbooks are also sold to teachers outside our school on a cost recovery basis. Yours sincerely, Sue

crater lake national park
Crater Lake National Park is the nation's 6th oldest National Park and is one of the most visited and coveted tourist attractions in Oregon. It is 180,000 acres of true wonder and splendor. Visitors to the park tell stories of how you cannot possibly be prepared for the beauty of the park in person. Pictures can only offer a limited point of view but seeing it in person can inspire.

Redwood Grove Photos
Nice redwood grove photos. Like the birth one too. A frame at the top reminds me of the Mahon Plaque area. The Hyperion that you mentioned, and similar Grove of Titans, its cool to think that they are out there even if there is no map. A few folks have even mentioned that even though they wish they could find the spots, they like mystery better. Cheers, Redwood Trekker.

Coffee Farm

We should have never stopped
what a gorgeous picture. To think that my little Island could be standing on her own right now if we would have taught our children to till the land and use our resources. How different things would be today. Amazing that these farms still exist. Someone should put together a tour of still existing coffee farms and sugar cane farms (if they still exist). That would be awesome. Gorgeous Picture!
