Cross-Country Summer Road Trip

After graduating from college we packed up and moved from Lexington, KY to Seattle, WA. Rather than take menial part-time jobs for the summer, we decided to end our apartment lease, live out of our car and use our savings for a trip of a lifetime .

Andras and I departed on a 10 week summer road-trip across the United States and Canada with only a tent to protect us from the elements. By the end we had camped and hiked in nineteen (19) national parks and monuments, sixteen (16) U.S states and one (1) Canadian province.

It not only opened our eyes to the joys of traveling, it also gave us a better appreciation for the great diversity of land, people and culture that together comprise our home nation.
