Welcome Home! Welcome back to the States, Miss Stacie! We can't wait to see you SOON and hear more about your adventures. So glad to know you had such a wonderful time and that you got through it all in one piece!
Please bring home some of that great Wine for our tasting to see if we have the same appreciation for GOOOD Wine...Glad to hear you survived the Crocs. Hurry Home, miss you bunches. Any Christmas Request? Oh yeah, we are not having a GALA this year. Darn it!!!!
Pictures Stacie I would love to see all your pictures when you get home. Let your Mom show them to us one evening for "show and tell". I just envy you so much as this trip has really been awesome. I've enjoyed keeping up with you.
I enjoyed your philosophical view on cities and what they have to offer versus the flavor of the small towns that provide the depth and character of a region. What beautiful and picturesque scenery, except for the flies of course (looks like something off Survivor). I got a little choked up with the part about the koala (sniff, sniff), the real one makes the stuffed one look like a bougar now, huh?
Camping, sure sounds like fun out there. Camping to me is staying at a crappy hotel at Myrtle Beach with my kid's soccer team.
A nice hot shower and a cozy bed never sounded so good I bet. But there will be plenty of time for that upon your return.
Be careful with that boomerang. I don't know if you having a boomerang is good for the safety of the group. Sure hope everyone signed their waivers.
Enjoy yourself, be careful, and keep us updated. This blog will be a killer keepsake of your time and travels.

are you sure that wasn't you doing the fire knife dance? I'm glad you're having fun and am living vicariously through you. On the surfing, you might want to stick with the equivalent of the bunny hill, we do want you to come back in one piece. Watch out for dingos in Australia.
Take care and keep us posted.
I love being able to see what you're doingand seeing! I'm glad you are having such a good time and I'm glad you chickened out with the bungie thing. The girls LOVED the postcard! Thanks for thinking of them. We miss you and keep you in our prayers every night. Mom was here in KY for the long weekend while I went with my college buds to Cape Cod. She had a good time catching up with Leslie. Keep the pics and updates up! Love you lots!
Fishing Stacie,
I have loved reading the blogs...it sounds as though you are having a great time. After reading your stories, I really want to see for myself!
As for the fishing...I will stick to good ol' bass fishing here at home! But, at least you caught something. Better than I do some days!
Continue having a great time and I will check in with the next journal!

All Sports All The Time What a great trip and travelogue. NZ moves to the top of my list. WHY would ANYONE want to roll down a hill in the center of a plastic bag? Who invented this sport? We are familiar with the war chant of the All Blacks, as we watch every sport at all times in our house. Loved the pics -- thanks for sending. I"m looking forward to the second installment.
Sounds so fun!! OKay! I am officially jealous! Here I am sitting in hot charlotte, 8 months preggo, and there you are doing so many cool things. I am especially envious of the white water rafting trip. It sounds awesome!!
Who is the "we" in your journal. Are these friends that you've met in traveling or did they come with you from the states?
Just curious!! Keep the journal coming. Maybe I can love vicariously through you.
Have fun. Be safe.
