So amazing Hey Guys! What a fantastic blog you have going. Keep up the good work.
That morning where were taking our sweet time was a perfect morning. Who rushes the Inka trail? Also, fantastic picture of the Orchid. Just one question....was it on MACRO? haha
Jacks You may laugh at Jacks but you should so go there for porridge in the morning......I felt unwell one day when we were in Cusco so went to Jack's knowing it would be like home cooked food, despite the fact it was pretty much dinner time I decided in my sick state that I wanted porridge and porridge only and oh my goodness was it amazing....seriously the best porridge I've ever tasted in my whole entire life. I subsequently went back there every single morning I think hehe xxx
Jealous!! Looks like you had an amazing 4 days-so jealous! Definitely adding the Inca trail to our growing list of trips! Glad your knee survived the trek, hope it doesn't give you too much more grief. Enjoy the galapagus islands!! Miss u loads xxxx
Shoe shine boys Getting very over excited with memories here! I satyed in the same hotel as you, isn't it gorgeous....very unique! And as for the shoeshine boys, you've got to hand it to them they're determined! I lost count of the number of times they tried to polish my flipflops hehe! xxx
Very jealous!! Hey guys, hope you're still having an amazing time! I'm getting so jealous reading your blog now as you're doing all the things I did, in fact I stayed in this same place (although in the desert there wasn't much choice of accommodation I guess!!) I hope you loved this desert crossing as much as I did, it was definitely one of my highlights! And so far it doesn't seem like you guys made the awful mistake of drinking 5 litres of red wine at that altitude.....disasterous lol!! Miss you xxx
Hi! Had to set down some thoughts this time - you're having such a fab, energetic hol - I'll try be brief! You've more important activities than reading blurb from a vol-dust covered UK mm... Love the pics and restrained emotions under pressure - such good practise for the work environment - but hey, who needs to think of that! Glad I around for your second attempt to reach home Chris. Dad's plan to fly off to Portugal today no longer an option - he's now having few days at home - though sure he'll manage to fit in lots of swinging clubs! Particularly enjoyed your Strictly scenes Soph - with bit of X Factor chucked in! Think Chris may have been demonstrating his inner exhibitionist - either way - it'll keep muscles supple and help when balancing on sheer-faced rocks or even mounting tops of buses. Salsa next? Love it all anyway, so enjoy, be safe and take care of each other.
Lots of love to both Mum XXX
Death road - no way! Hey!! glad you´re enjoying reading it as much as I enjoyed reading yours! I was worried all the entries were a bit long and boring but of course it´s for us to remember everything as much as anything else. Have though about death road... i saw u did it and chris is keen... but not sure about me! will have a think! hows work going?? xxxxxxxx
:) Hey guys! Firstly, I'm going to say how incredibly jealous I am of you both!! I am sat in the office reading your blog (obviously working extremely hard) and even though it's been mainly driving in the truck so far I'm still so jealous, you have the most incredible trip ahead of you!!
Secondly, I can't remember if you said your doing this or not but you guys have to cycle the death road in Bolivia if you get the chance....if I remember rightly you go from Cusco to do it and it's amazing.....SO much fun and incredible scenery.....also gets the adrenaline going a bit as your cycling down a very narrow, very bumpy and rocky road with the most insane drop to your side!! It too has lots of memorials all down it due to the crazy amount of people who died on it due to car accidents (still a death a month due to tourists on their bikes mind you so be careful!!)....definitely worth doing :)
Anyway, I hope you carry on having a brilliant time and that the truck starts behaving!
Loves xxx
The Hats Hey Guys
Get photos, glad you are having fun and that the hats are keeping you warm. Soph look after your knee and Chris I am disappointed in the amount of pouting so far :-)
Something about chips... Very very jealous, keep up the adventure - sounds and looks amazing! And I agree there is something damn rewarding about chips!!
