Noticed the new photo. Nice. The school and its mountain views remind me of the Montessori school we visited in Guatemala last year. I can't believe you are going to be teaching!

How exciting! I'm thrilled you found this cookbook. If it produces good food, you will have to translate the whole thing for us! The class you are teaching sounds like it will be fun

Where's the Mussel Dish?
Sounds like a stimulating beginning to your stay in Andorra. I'm glad to hear everyone is getting along well - you all seem like birds of a feather. Most importantly, where's the photo of the mussel dish? It didn't upload. All you see is the description.

Finally
Well, I've finally had a chance to write a note -- and you've finally arrived! The photos of both food and scenery are thrilling and sometimes scary (just the squid and stuff). I've so enjoyed reading your blogs; writing travel journals/books could be a lucrative side job for you! Love, Your Ii

What's up with the food?
Hi Jeff. I enjoyed reading your travel stories. It reminds me of the ones I wrote on my travels with your mom to Disneyland. I too had to write about every minute detail. I can't imagine eating anything that you ate throughout your trip except for the donut and coffee at McDonald's. As you might have guessed, I am not a big gourmet. Remind me to tell you about Mike's experience with Paella. It was quite amusing. Have a great year in 'Angora'. I'll keep reading about your adventures.

Whoville?
Parc Guell looks a little like Dr. Seuss' "Whoville" or the decor at Cheesecake Factory.

flaczki
You can thank your Polish roots for enjoying those flaczki. I have to admit I kind of like the texture tho I haven't had any tripe in years.

Food, food, food
All of your mouthwatering food talk makes our little snack of kabanosy and kalamata olives pale in comparison. BTW - I am putting in a request now for you to bring me some, actually LOTS, of olives when you come home for Christmas. Some jamon potato chips would be nice, too. Aah, fond memories!

I was worried there wouldn't be enough food and beverage commentary. Silly me!

No surprise you find comfort in alcohol, not to mention well deserved alcohol. ( even if it's called monkey anus lol) Glad to hear you're finally in Spain. Can't wait to read your next blog. Love you!
25th August 2009

Glad you made it! Have a wonderful time exploring with Christopher!

There's a problem when 1/2 your pictures are of the alcoholic beverages you've consumed whilst traveling.

Whew...
Welp, glad you made it there...finally. I just need you to make sure they have monkey anus liqueur on MY train when I visit... bisous
