Great pics of Budapest!
Thanks for the BD call from Budapest. Nice guy to let you use his personal phone. These are some of your best pictures yet. Do you remember the wedding we saw the last time we visited St. Matthius church? That's the same place you had the outdoor concert with the Youth Symphony. The baths at the Hotel spa (name starts with a "G") on the Danube are supposed to be among the best in Europe. Food as always looked good. Hungarian is defintely a very different language. I'm going to forward your link so that Don Sandel's wife Georgie (who speaks Hungarian) can get a peek at the mother land. Thanks again for anothe great blog update!

Mythical Bird
That bird is very similar to the one that flew under the SUV driving in front of me yesterday. I drove into the remnants of the exploded fowl and now am tortured by the picture of the statue. Good times in Mundelein! Love you!

Defenestration
After this, I'm going to have to look through all my own pics from Prague. Such fun! Don't forget to call your Dad for his birthday today! =) Love, -K

Ridiculously Funny
...that's what this blog is. Your factual descriptions were funny even when you weren't trying to be. Kutna Hora looks like a church right of an Edward Gorey drawing. It reminded me slightly of the catacombs we saw in Paris. I almost pissed in my pants remembering the "defenestration" comment. Have a safe trip to Budapest.

lamb
Hey Jeff, While you're in Prague, you should go to a restaraunt on the North Side of the Charles Bridge. It is practically underneath the North Steps...it has the best lamb I have ever had. Glad to hear that all is still going well

i love the doll with the sharp little teeth. it's a little bit cute but also a little bit "i want to feast on your blood" which is cool.. (? lol) and i love the caption "MUSEUM OF COMMUNISM IS HERE!!" it screams, "Look no further...you've found it!! come oooonnnnnn in!!" all very interesting. and oy, i spoke spanish over the phone today at work. I felt proud for all three minutes of it...but who knows about my other 92 days upcoming...

Oh, Jeff, how the memories came flooding back of our wonderful trip to Prague 5 years ago! Your photos brought smiles to me, as well as to my co-workers who kept looking over my shoulder. (They couldn't help coming to my side since I kept screaming with joy!) Thanks for the food pix; I loved the food, too!!

Praha como no
Since you are doing the food tour of Eastern Europe you must stop at this fantastic cafe in Mala Strana for breakfast or lunch. At present, its name is escaping me, but take the first (or maybe the second) left after you cross the Charles Bridge, follow the road around until you see the most precious cafe is your entire life on the right. It should be across from an English university or something like that. The cappuccinos are fantastic as are the massive crepes (aka pancakes). I will post again once I figure out the name. Bien hecho con el espanol - disfruta tu viaje!!

beer church
Hey, Thats not a church - that's the town hall :). But hey, I *HAVE* seen stranger advertisments on churches in Poland - try the Da Vinci code movie advertising itself on the main Church in Warsaw....

Peacocks and Trout!
I love that you are thinking of me out there as you are taking pictures and updating your blog! :-) Even though they give me the willies, I do enjoy seeing all you are experiencing! Love you!

Miss you
I am so jealous. You should write a book about traveling since you're such an expert. I wish my summer was exciting. But I can't wait to travel with you in the fall! Did I tell you that we're going to Casablanca, cause we are, but I need to go with you since you're an expert in hostels. I love you. Make good choices!

Hi, dearest nephew, Uncle Ray wants to know if the Big Macs taste the same in Poland as back home. That way, he knows there is food he would enjoy in Poland. Ii
