Hi folks, I left Bangkok on Wednesday morning (early!) and got a 2.5 hour flight to Singapore. As soon as I stepped out of the airport I could see the difference in the cities. Whilst Bangkok is bustling and noisy and quite dusty/dirty, Singapore feels the complete opposite; Calm, quiet and very very clean. I know a lot of people have said to me that Singapore is a little too clean, and it's laws on chewing gum, for example, are extreme in the least. (For those not in the know, you cannot chew gum in Singapore, and you can apparently be fined heavily for importing it in your luggage).
