Sister says "What fun!!!" Hey there: You forgot to mention all of the long, wet, but amazing hikes we took in Ireland, and the sheep skeleton separated from it's fleece in Scotland in the Highlands!
Don't you just love cute, "little" Hamish, the biggest hairy coo in all of Scotland?
comment on amsterdam too bad you have such a narrow minded view of amsterdam.I am an australian female that resided in amsterdam for 12 years.i loved it there and miss everything about it.after 12 years ,there was still plenty to discover in amsterdam to see and do
wait a minute As you all know (or now know) I am half dutch..though the sex trade is legal and drugs are rampent...it is a shame thats all you noticed...the netherlands are a beutiful country and I hope you give it a second look...beyond the what N.America deems bizarre.
lol mike, your too much....stumbling upon a bbq and actually staying...lol...reminds me of our "younger" days...did you at least offer some compensation for the food? I guess it wasnt necessary...sounds like your having a great time.
Spelling and a liquid bread Every (even Czech) text editor has got English keyboard. It's changed by shift + left alt. But don't be worry. I've got problems with English keyboard to (I'm Czech).
Beer is sometimes by people in Bohemia called: "liquid bread". In the Bible bread presents a body of Christ. So breas has to be used during the celebration. So beer is for Czech religious an Chtists body (I'm pagan).
No matter, that Czechs are the second most atheistic nation on the world (the first is Northen Corea).
Good for you I'm sure Mom and Dad are happy to hear you are leaving Amsterdam. Maybe you should have went into the sex worker area of town instead of the drug area!
Cool! I was reading your comments about GODS OF METAL. I was checking it out because it turns out I was in Italy on vacation the weekend of the fest. Though I did not realize it until the next day, Monday, when I saw a bunch of metalheads in Florence with GOM t-shirts on. So today I was looking online for more info on the festival.
I heard it was 60 Euro PER DAY. Was that true? Do you have more pictures?
You are so right about the food. My wife and I visited Rome, Florence and Venice (may have been there while you were!) and the food was great!
BTW, I’m the guitarist in the band Overlorde. www.overlorde.com. You may have heard of us
I am soooo jealous Hey M: I work with your Dad and he is so proud of you and your accomplishments and I on the other hand, I am jealous!...that you are traveling while young and adventurous. Be sure to take a lot more pictures as the photos so far have been amazing. Be safe!

excellence I must say that reading your depictions of Europe so far has been exciting. I cant wait to see where you go next and what adventures you do. Next time you go traveling, I may come. ;)
very insightful That's a really good analysis of Venice Mike. If I'm ever there (and I definitely want to go) I'll take your advice and get off the main strips. I'll also avoid that Hostel. Sounds like it doesn't deserve its HI rating.
Clarification Hey: Glad you clarified the "bag the Munro" thing. I thought you caught someone (a nice looking Scotsman for me,perhaps, kilt included). Talk to you soon. - Melissa
Great Journal! Wow! I am really enjoying your journal. Your journey so far sounds amazing. It is fantastic that you are able to throw the occasional photo our way, too. Please keep up the journalling! - Cousin Brent
Fun Fun Fun Hi Mike. Hows it going? Sounds like you are having a great time. Doesn't sound like you are eating as much as usual. Don't be loosing to much weight. Have fun anyway... - Aunt Ethel
Bath! Hey - So, you need a bath? That's not good! If you want to be smelly, then go to a smelly town; that way, no one will smell you specifically! - Melissa
Big Breakfast Your breakfast list has already made me jealous. In my usual rush to work, I only had a small bowl of Cream of Wheat. You lily-livered peacock! - Melissa
Just recently graduating from the University of Waterloo in Mechanical Engineering, I have decide to take a long deserved vacation in Europe.... full info
