Portable baptistry Hi
I came across your blog whilst looking for a portable baptistry. We are a small congregation in Poland and on the lookout for a portable baptistry. Would you be able to give me contact details for the ones you have used please? Tanzania looks amazing by the way. We (me and my wife) thought about moving there but aren't brave enough.
God bless
Portable Baptistry Hi there!! I would love to help out! Let me give you my direct email address. sbrown@rashfordrkuse.com . We moved back from Tanzania and are now home in TN but there is rarely a day goes by that I don't think of Africa! I look forward to talking with you. In the meantime, here is a link that might be helpful. https://www.arm.org/portable-baptistries/collapsible_portable_baptistry/
Applique Tool The tools that Tammy used are called "Apliquick". It is really cool and easy to use. Just search in google and you can find them several places.
Anxiously awaiting 5th quilt reveal! Shasta, I read all four quilt descriptions this afternoon-it was like reading a book that entices you along-you just can't resist reading the next chapter right then! I can hardly wait to see your mom's quilt and read each daughters' struggles with designing additions that reveal their individual personality and passion for their mom & family:)
So much Talent! You ladies amaze me with your quilting talents! The quilt turned out beautifully! Thanks for sharing your quilting journey! Much love, Patty
Tree of Life! I love batiks too! And these are breath taking! Love the center "tree of life" and all the applique vein/leaves ...and I really think the "little" border with gold and little triangles are perfect! And the outer border, oh my! Perfection! Again...looking forward to seeing this quilted! Looking for quilt #3
A family that quilts together...... What a wonderful group of ladies! And family to boot! Thank you Tammy for sharing this blog with me. I have finished looking at your quilt top and love seeing how everyone adds to the previous ideas! Beautiful! Now on the quilt #2. Oh ...and I look forward to seeing how it will be quilted!
I love the stories! The quilt is beautiful but so are the stories behind what each sections represents. I will be sad when the last quilt is posted but I hope all of you will be doing another and let "us bystanders" look on.
So Many Stitches Tammy shared with me about the round robin. I told her not to forget me when you had the great reveal. She sent me the photos shortly after Christmas. How talented all of you are and so blessed to be able to share your love of quilting with each other.
live in Alabama want to go to Scotland hello. I thank you for your blog..I am saving to go to Scotland one day. I am thinking of camping out for some of my visit since I want to be able to afford to stay for a month when I do go.. however I am 61 yrs old and a widow..so there is a lot to be considered. I just wanted to say hello and thanks.. if you don't mind I might want to ask questions in the future about your trip.
Sometimes it takes awhile for those of us without a clue of who you are... to take notice. You will shortly be up for Blogger of the Week, so keep blogging and soon you will be noticed by a few more TBers. You will note from my blogs that I also have a missionary kid background.
blogging away Thank you ! I have really enjoyed it. I wish I had known about it when we were living in TZ in the early 90's. I love to travel! I see how once it is in your bones that is all you think about. We both work full time now however so only a short amount of time duing the year. Keep your goals! It is what life is about. What church was your family missionary with? We have meet so many families over the years!!
Thanks again!
Good for you Shasta! I am so proud of you. I wish I could join you for the Country Music Half next year, but my knees have screamed for me to stop the long-distance running. If you and Anthony keep it up, look into the Warrior Dash in Manchester or if you are up for more fun, try the Tough Mudder!! Now, I want pictures of those! Take care.
YOU BOTH SHOULD BE VERY PROUD! kuddo's to the both of you!! That is quite an accomplishment. I thought that was you I saw in the crowd! ha Love you both.
Hey, Shasta!!!! Sounds like an interesting trip! If they ever need another RN let me know - I'm in! I just got back from 2 weeks in Kenya myself.
Dr. Citty's son is InaBeth's gyno by the way.
Hope all is going well for y'all. The wedding was great and they are adjusting well to the married life. Callie is home for the rest of the summer - yeh!!
Love you guys!!
Elizabeth
My husband, Anthony, have returned from living in Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa. We moved there in October of 2006, and returned home in January of 2009. I miss it terribly! We are from Tennessee and have one son, Joshua. We were missionaries in Chimala, Tanzania from 1992 - 1995 and fell in love with the country as a whole. We came home, got some additional schooling, allowed Joshua to do all the things teenagers should do, graduate high school, and moved back to Africa. Have come home, Joshua is married. This journal is our ongoing story.
