Straps
Mine came with nylon straps. You might want to contact the manufacturer. They have been real helpful! Alec

Butty Buddy
My wife and I love our butty buddy. It came with rubber straps which worked great. The only problem is that they both have broken. Is there any way to get something other than the rubber straps. Maybe a set of nylon straps might be better. I will gladly pay for the nylon straps if that's what is needed. I look forward to your response.

Oh. FABULOUS!
Love, Love, Love your pics! I used to work for a company whose funding bank is in Columbia (AgFirst). I have seen "Tunnelvision" (in fact I used to have pics but they were lost in a computer crash). The police station and the fire hydrant have been on my "To-Do" list for several years; but the last time that I rode down south, to Cherokee, I didn't have time to swing into Columbia. Great post!

Update ....
My wife now has close to 500 miles on the seat and is still loving it. The seat is holding up really well. I have also used it as a base for caring items on the bike and it works great ... Give Butty Buddy a try ... you will like it. Alec Shadow Mas

Turning Wrenches
Alec - Nice summary of your weekend. I'd like to see some pics of the finished project. How do you like the new fuel cell? I still think its cool that your working with what you have. I look forward to some great ride reports. I just got back from White Stag. 2600 total miles. 80% of those miles were in the low 30s. We saw 22 degrees yesterday. It didn't get in the 40s until we were back in WA state. At least it was dry and no ice. Lloyd

Jim Bain it is ....
You have a good eye ... that is Jim! I have been lucky enough to be brought under his watchful eye as he helps develop me into an IBR finisher like himself. Was that enough sucking up!!

Time for some heated gear!
Good write-up, Alec. Sounds like it's time for some heated gear. You will be glad you did! Thanks for the review of the Chat 'n Chew. I have seen the sign pointing to Turbeville on I-95 for years, but never had a reason to check it out. Now I do! That looks like Jim Bain in the last pic...

Volume Controller
I have add that.
27th January 2010

Impedence Matching for your System
Lloyd, the reason why you are having so much volume with your headphone pair is that they have low impedance (my first guess) and/or high sensitivity. If you find an inline volume controller this would modify the resistance and lower the volume for you.

Write up
Good pictures and a very well written piece. Have ridden in º17 degree weather when I was a lot younger, and still do not remember it as FUN! Hang in there, and enjoy your rides.
