Halley~ It sounds like you are having the most amazing experience! The castle must have been really difficult to go through but it is so wonderful that people are taking time to remember and reflect. I can totally picture you dancing in the middle of that parade, gosh you're crazy and I LOVE it. The pictures of the rainforest and you on the rope bridge are incredible. Keep us informed I love these journals! Love you, Kelsey

Hey Unclo Marco Well, thanks for the safe wishes! Everyone here takes really good care of us, so I'm sure I'll come home healthy! I do have access to computers here, but sometimes the internet/electricity is down so it can take a while to respond. I would love an email! It's nice to hear from people at home!! Anyway, lots of love from Ghana!!-Halley
Hi Halley Wow! What an adventure you're on. I can't imagine all the things you'll see and do. Stay healthy and safe and learn as much as you can. I was wondering if you have a computer to send and receive email? It would be great to write you that way, but if not I'll break out pen and paper. Take care, and watch out for trains :o)
Love ya, Uncle Marco
Good Times It sounds like you're having a great time. I'm glad the guy who owns the hostel found you and offered you a place to stay. Mark and I just got back from a long weekend in Chicago and then we head to Boston and P'town in a few weeks. Not as adventureous as Argentina but fun for us. Keep writing, it's great to read about your travels. Love ya, Uncle Marco
funfunfun Hey Hay, Glad to see your messages - traveling agrees with you! Good pictures. I'll ask my friend Christian about spikey tree. He is a Chilean documentary film maker- specifically plant stuff. Hey - never know what might come to the surface with chanting, talking about feelings! Could be good. Oh gotta go! Love Donna Duck
Heya! So good to hear that everyone had a great time at the beach and Im happy for Robyn and Ryan! The name of the spikey tree is Quebaracho, unfortunatly, I dont know the english translation! Its great to hear from everyone and share my trAVELS WITH YALL! lOTSA LOVE AND iLL UPDATE YOU ALL SOON, since were heading to wine country tomorrow! yeah! And Sissy, dont worry, youll get some vino!
Hi ya Halley Thanks for the update Hay. What a weird tree ole spikey is. Do you know what it is called? (engish translation please) I've never seen anythng like it. That'll keep the squirrels at bay.
Were back from the beach. I thnk a good time was had by all 'cept that we missed the Peter-Jobs. We had a good mix of sun and exciting stormy weather. At the peak i think we were 25 folks. My attempt to feed all of them a seafood feast was tastey but lacking, at least from a Jobsis perspective since there was not enough fish for seconds and few left overs. Oh well, more next time.
The peak was of course Ryan's and Robin's engagement. And Vicki's and my 23rd anniversary on 07/07/07! Everyone was quite excited - about Robin and Ryan but Vicki and I had a great day of our own.
Keep up your travel log posts. It's great to be able to check up on your travels and i love the photos.

Ryan & Robyn getting married Looks like you're having a great time. The farm you're staying at sounds very similar to the naturist pagans I work with. Very cool and friendly people. Just don't drink the coolaid ;O). Anyway, Ryan asked Robyn to get married while we were all at the beach last week. They're tentatively planning to get married at Holden Beach next summer so if I don't see you before, hopefully I'll see you then. Love ya, Uncle Marco XOXOXO

Have fun Hi Halley,
It looks like you're having a great time. I just had some friends come back from a trip to Buenos Aires and they really enjoyed it. They were amazed at how inexpensive things were compared to the U.S. Send a picture of the palace balcony where Evita and Madonna stood ;o) Seriously though, thanks for the blog and the pictures, it's fun to follow along on your travels. Everyone here in NC is fine. I look forward to your next entry.
XOXO, Marco
Well, I just finished junior year of college at Appalachian State University and I\\\'m about to start another round of traveling. I traveled a lot in high school, with family and friends. Before coming to college I took a year to volunteer. I worked in a pediatric hospital in Cochabamba, Bolivia just helping with whatever I could. After that I moved to London where I worked at a school for people with Cerebral Palsy. For the last three years I\\\'ve been too tied down with school to do much, but for the next 7 months I\\\'ll be out and exploring once again!... full info
