support SEAMUS O!! As always, your blogs are inspirational. I'm so glad Alanna is going on the trip to help with your cause. I know I'm a little anxious for her because she's my little sister, BUT...I know that it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I know that your mission and travels will be successful because you put 200% of yourself into everything. Definitely keep the blog going and GOOD LUCK!!! XOXO, T
You're a pirate I like! Hi Seamus!
Just read your blog post and I am inspired by your good deeds. The world needs more people like you, and more groups like Project MARC.
Let us know if you we can help in any way.
Your ninja friend,
Cat
You Made It! Thanks, Rapha, for the photo! We look forward to the emails, blogs, and the occasional phone call. We'll be asking Archangel Raphael to guide you on your mission. (and watch out for birds "flying overhead"!)
Much love and many prayers,
mom and dad
Sydney I love Sydney! Must be warm this time of year :) welcome back to the States :) I'll be in Phoenix for New Year's Eve and maybe a day or two after that.
Hey, that looks like a... STUMP!!! I haven't played that game since the last time I got a nail in the eye! Ahh good times. Can't wait to see you lad, you've been gone too long.
yay! I cant wait to see you Seamus! I'm jealous you'll be home before me but not by very much. I'll be in San Diego on the 13th and I'm counting down the days. Have a good, safe flight home and see you soon!!!!
Old Lady Backpacker Hey, Rapha,
If she's gonna make good on her pledge to go help you after she retires, this ol' lady had better hit the weights Big time! And I thought the Rockies were steep! ;)
Love,
mom
fuckin A brother... seamus man...so glad to see you taking care of the business over there, things seem good there like you're taking care of business...were all proud of what you're doing. Meanwhile I can't get the bartender to notice me and I am thirsty...
i have no words Seamus O!!! I have no words to describe how much I love your tales from afar. And the scary birth story where everything turned out okay in the end and the baby was given your name. That is just beautiful! All of us back in the States will always await your return, but always know that you are such a soldier for life, and you are doing what most people don't even have the courage to think about. Best of luck with Project MARC and everything else! Your family and friends back home are rooting for ya!
Still alive... 1. Your images be fried.
2. You never did get me an address to ship Spaced.
3. Ira just took a job as the Attorney General for Micronesia. He'll be based out of Pohnpei for the next year. He flies out of here Thursday the 28th. You should look him up.
4. Post more. :-)
Fair sailing my friend.
The current endeavor has me working as a director for a small humanitarian aid organization. Project MARC is a non-governmental organization that provides medical assistance to remote communities in island nations. The projects we do range from building clinics to installing water systems to vaccinating children.
This website will serve as a log of my activities and will hopefully allow people to observe the projects while they happen. If you scroll down to some of last year's journal entries, you can see some of the places I've been privileged enough to visit. ... full info
