We woke up at 5:30 because we were to be shuttled to the bus that would take us to the train that would take us to Machu Picchu. We were excited, but tired. We arrived at Macchu Picchu at around 11:30, along with half the world, it seemed. It was very crowded, so we took a different route to explore the famous Incan ruins. This proved to be a good choice because we were alone for the first half of the exploration. Of course, I took like 200 pictures. It really was amazing to see. It was not the spiritual experience I had hoped for due to the crowds.
