No f-ing way. I can't believe poor Jonathon was able to make the rest of the trip after that! I got stung in August, just ONE sting, and my whole hand swelled up. Can not IMAGINE what he must have felt like. poor thing.
you guys are awesome. I miss you!

Incredible!! Man, I hope you guys are alright, while reading this story I kept thinking of 2 things: 1. The movie attack of the killer bees and 2. I am allergic to bee stings and this story really freaked me out!
hope all is well, keep rockin'!
Bland or not, this entry made me laugh out loud. Especially the part about the medium number of people washing not very colorful clothes. Pure Kass - hilarious.
Yoga around the world In yoga class today - an offering by the Cornell University Staff Recreation Program -- I resented downward dog, which I can't do at the moment due to repetitive stress issues. Thanks for reminding me that yoga/spirit/heart is much bigger than this moment in my life. I remember not only my own experiences doing yoga next to water in different parts of the world but get to imagine yours! The image of the woman carrying her heavy load is powerful, as well. Thanks!
We're Sarah and Jonathon. We're exploring.
But we are exploring in a rather circuitous fashion, and the order of our blog postings is even more illogical.
So, if you are wondering where we are right now, the answer is....ooops....we're home! But we may post some final Africa blogs anyway.
As you look through where we have been, beware that we'll be posting out of order so the top post may not be the most recent. You can either scroll through to see what is new, or subscribe to get a message and link every time we post something new.

Great description!
Thanks for this full (and non-patronizing) description of a vibrant marketplace! I enjoyed reading it.
