SO GOOD to hear from you! Oh, was thinking of you and am so glad you left before this! No school today with - temps! Heading tomorrow to Halfmoon past Albany to help with the preschooler and the sweet Nemo, their 3-leggd dog. Jesse must go to a weeklong seminar for Pitney Bowes for a week. Please pray me there in the 1 degree. Love you forever dear Friends, Sue
new year.. tis a new year... we pray that Alan will be ok ...and surgery will go well... As too that you and Cory can get on your way to the cold sunny south.... no temps like ours but very cold for them... safe travels .. love your blog....see you in the spring...
Brrrrrr I bet we got you beat, though, Judy......anything has to be better than this frigid world we are stuck in. But at least we don’t have to be jealous you aren’t dripping sweat like we thought. Love you back!
Glamour Couple Maybe it is best you were still in the area with so many bad things happening in your family. I think God knew you were going to be needed and indeed you were. I spoke to a friend of mine over the holidays and he said it wasn't very warm in Florida, but warmer that here. Now if you can just stay well and escape the flu bug you will be on your way to the sunny south soon.
Happy Trails.
How can it be.... we're so sorry things aren't going your way, but maybe by the end of next week the weather will be warmer here too. We heard today that 2 of the main Interstate highway bridges over the border into N. C. were closed for over 7 hours because of ice and traffic was at a standstill till they could rget everyone off the roads and rerouted. It was a mess. At least you're home in your own comfy beds and surroundings and before you know it, it will be time to hit the road again. We'll keep your spot at the Palms open and "Love Bug" free for you. Tell Lulu we feel her pain. Our girls went out to go potty, this am and tonight, it's in the low 40's, and they looked at me like "you want us to do what ... I'm not going outside in this cold.. it's way too chilly for us local girls! " I had to put their sweaters on,,,, lol. Hope the part comes in earlier than planned and hope you can head out sooner and with no more problems the rest of the trip. Be safe and keep us informed!
WOW Thanks for your kind words, warnings and helpful hints. You have a good way to look at things and make everything seem okay.....it will be great to be with you again IF we get there. We will....sooner or later...just wish it was sooner.
first day sorry to hear that we didn't get far down the road today ...but am very glad that you and Cory are all right ... stay warm and we are waiting to hear about the next attempt out of the driveway..
Driveway woes Watch for the next blog, Mary Lou...hopefully we’ll get further than the edge of Shongo this next time. Not making good time at this rate.
Geeze Louise!!!! They say things happen for a reason, but do you two always have to have such "BIG" reasons happen? Such a shame about the car, but don't rush it, be careful and get here safely. As usual, it's been warm in the mid 80's, but now that Mr. Cory is coming, it's dropping down in the 60's over the next week!! I believe this is year three you've made this happen isn't iit Sir? Don't you like us here? We like you. Hope to see you soon, the Mecum Auctions start on the 8th, so no pressure, ha ha . Luv you guys Mike and MJ
See You....soon? Good to hear from you as always. Now when you mention cold weather in your neck of the woods....hah...we are heading into negative numbers tonight! That’s cold! Hope to see you both again soon....we hope and pray. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Hi Karen, glad you made it thru the lengthy blog. Still missed not being at the reunion. You’ll have to tell us all about it. PS...if we didn’t wish you a Happy Birthday...we are doing a belated one to you now - Happy Birthday.
Thanks Always glad to know you are out there for us. Not sure that we can stop on our way down to Florida as I’m not sure that we will take I-95. You should plan to come and visit us at Tropical Palms. That would be great...Think about it.
We used to live in the Western part of NY, close to PA border. Have been married 59 years. We have four fabulous children (Lory, Kim, Cory, Tim). They have given us nine terrific grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. All families live in N.Y. We are retired...Cory was VP of Human Resources...Sandy was an R.N. We now live in our 2008 Phaeton RV full time and are loving it! In 2012 we lost our beloved dog, Chip - our chocolate lab. He was our dear traveling companion. He was almost 13 years old. His memory will travel with us wherever we go. We winter in Florida at Tropical Palms RV Park in ... full info
