Ron the belated traveler
Ron Geddert
My home is Abbotsford, BC, Canada. I started global traveling relatively late in life, though I had done a lot of touring around North America prior. In April, 2007 I trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal (with Peregrine), and in April 2008 did a tour of Costa Rica (with Tucan). In March, 2009 I went on an overland trip with Dragoman to Africa (Capetown to Vic Falls) to see sand dunes, wildlife, deltas, traditional people, etc. It is on that trip that I started blogging. Since then, I've blogged about some trips closer to home, as well as a trip to Vietnam in May, 2011. I love exploring the world and will probably do so until the day I die. I also really enjoy the many people I meet from all over the world on these trips. On the African and Vietnam trips, I was the only Canadian client, but now have friends from many English-speaking countries around the world.
