Benjamin Hadaway

I am taking a trip around the world for the first time!

I have now opened a paypal account so please feel free to give it a go. This will also be used as a source of donations for any DARES I complete.

Here is how the DARE system works. If you have a dare for me to do while I am on my journey simply reply to a post with the DARE, and the Reward. Keep in mind this will have to be something I can obtain proof with by a photograph.

For example:

I dare you to eat an eyeball!
Reward: $5, a hug, a beer, etc...
Status: Will show either "Active" "Completed" or "Failed"

Please help me make this blog fun to read by providing you with some daring entertainment.

Thank you again and will keep you posted with stories from the ground.

To submit donations please follow the steps below for PAYPAL.

The Itch So i have 10 days and counting and the itch is starting to come on. I have bought the LP Korea book and been reveiwng that. Korea is going to be my substitueiton for Japan and I am pleasently surprised how similar they SEEM to be. I still get my Urban Technological Euphoria and Cherry Blossoms so all is well... I have booked a hostel for Busan, in S. Korea. On another note I was reviewing my Tree Top Asia Zip lining tour and discovered they have me down for OCTOBER 5th. I think I mixed up the day and month order on the resevation request on the website. I have sent a request to have them change my tour to MAY 10th. Also, I have completed the packing list, and it comes ... read more

Unfortunatley the earthquake/Tusnami in Japan has forced me to change my itinearary. I am very upset that I don't get to go, but imagine it would not be the same even if I did. It is very unfortunate what happened to Japan and I hope the nation can pull through. I will still visit Japan in the future, in a couple ears and make it a trip of its own. Nevertheless, the trip must go on. I have decided to detour to South Korea and visit there for a few days before heading over to China a little early. I have done absolutley zero research on SOuth Korea and have less than two weeks to figure out what I want to do. I have to call the airline and deal with the fee changes, but flights ... read more

Today i decided to copy all of my important documents at work. Long story short the copy machine jammed on the last document that ran through. I was worried that I might have a page or two stuck in the printer and someone would see me printing an itanar and ask where/what I was doing. Fortunately that didn't happen, but it took 3 guys standing around the copy machine opening and slamming doors, ink trays and other levers 15 minuntes to fix it. The countdown continues. Well, its been a while on the updates. For one the internet here sucks, wether because of the weather or our crappy router. LNKSYS sucks, don't get it. Anyway, some updates on the trip. It seems like everywhere I am going the end of the world is coming. If I waited for everything to be right I don't think I would ever get to go on this trip. I have contacted the Dive Shop in Thailand and though some of the dive sites in the Similian Islands (as well as other parts of Thailand) are closed, he assured me that their are many other sites within the islands. Apparently the islands are nine diffierent islands with dozens of dive sites. I have a connecting flight from Bangkok to Rome via CAIRO! Haha. Might be changing that ... read more
