Babababababaaa "Hi, yes I'm afraid Suleiman is here and yes that it about a hundred thousand hungry armed Ottomans with him. But hey, I brought you roses!" I'm going to change my name to Gul Baba, I just love the sound of it. Now can you explain to me how Dervishes don't get dizzy? I'm mystified.
love it! We found it rather interesting that the Italian's find nothing strange about leaving us pitiful, hungry Americani with nothing to eat from 3:00 to 7:30, at least they could offer us an Italian version of a fast food spot! (Gelato not withstanding). You could have pulled a Euell Gibbons and nibbled on one of the trees at Lake Como, many parts are edible. Lake Como sounds fantastic, and George Clooney missed out on meeting two great people.
PS. We have been enjoying watching the metal ring that Doug threw up into our tree last winter sway in the breeze, (remember??) it has become quite the conversation starter for our patio guests. "What in the heck is that????"
