'To travel is to take a journey into yourself.' For as long as I can remember I have always had the travel bug. From the age of 17 when I started earning money, I wasn't interested in driving, getting a house etc but only to see as much of the world as I could! Those days it was on as many holidays as I could cram into a year to the likes of various locations in Spain, Carribean - Cayman Islands, Amsterdam, Berlin, France.... Then at the age of 21, on the bus home from uni one day I booked a one ticket to Australia. Spent 7 amazing months there, followed by a travels to Bali and Thailand. When in Bali I found the perfect job online for me as cabin crew for British Airways. Flew home, got the job and had three fun filled years travelling the globe. List of destinations including Rio, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Baku, Tel Aviv, Muscat, Kuwait, Nigeria, Nairobi, Ghana, Capetown, Luanda, Vancouver, Miami, LA, Vegas, New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Denver, San Diago, Hamburg, Vienna, Prague,..and the best going back to Sydney! On every trip I made the most of my time in any place I went to! Even made the most of my staff travel for my own adventures to places such as Thailand again, Vietnam, Holland (Amsterdam couple times and Rotterdam), Ibiza, Cyprus, Geneva, and trips back home! Haven't lived in my hometown Glasgow now for over 4 and a half years! Spent the past while with BA living in London which is something I am glad to have done and now have hung up my wings as a stewardess and relocated to Barcelona!! Got myself a Trinity Cert TESOL certificate here and now a fully qualified, working English teacher. Chose to do this as I want to really live somewhere and experience a different culture, learn new language and my certificate can take me to anywhere in the world! For now though I am content staying here in what I think may be my favourite place yet!
