Horsley hills Hi Deepti,
Thanks for your comments. From Hyderabd frankly i dont know the distance but the closest rail head is Madanapalli or Chittoor. The only place to stay is teh Punnami guest house run by the AP tourism. Its ok not bad food is not very good, place is safe for women and its really worth for a 2 day trip. From Hyderabad u can plan for Chittoor and then to Madanapallee. Buses ply from this place and also you can take a cab.well i will get more info adn mail yu soon as rushing out on a job jus saw your comment and replied.
regards ,
Ramz

Looks like a great trip!! Looks like you guys had a great time!! Baratang Island sounds amazing, and it sounds like it would be awesome to see some of the local tribes. Wow, what an experience!!

Andaman trip Made interesting reading! Especially the frightening ferry trip in rough sea. Cellular jail experience was poignant. Would definitely like to visit the place sometime soon.
Horsley Hills I went to school at Horsely Hills during the late sixties, it was just gorgeous back then. Large amounts of construction have since spolied the verdant area.
