Envious we are! The kids started school today, but wouldn't we love to be sharing an adventure with you! Thank goodness for plans B and C. You can write a book about your adventure when it's all done!
close to the beach! hi there!
the esparza option sounds amazing. i had friends who lived close to the town of puntarenas, and have been there several times. the beaches are amazing, and close to manuel antonio park, which is fabulous. great for surfing and swimming.
who needs a job anyway??? work is greatly overrated!
ciao!
Can't wait to see the pictures! Sounds like a very interesting place to be....I would love to see the old cathedrals and their stained glass. I'm sorry to hear about the job, but, as one door closes another one always opens. Things have a way of working themselves out. Things are very busy back in Eastend School-I'm sure you know what it is like!!! The Riders beat the Bombers on Labour Day! Holly Schultz and a friend are in Costa Rica right now, but, I don't have a clue where. Take care.
P.S. Hi Owen, How are you doing? Have you started school with your parents yet? Sounds like you and Ben will be learning lots by travelling. Lucky you! Ms. Hayes
plan b or c will work out
Was disappointed for you but know that things will all work out,, and remember you've got Lisette praying for you all, and how could thing not turn out, with that kind of goodness on your side.
keep us posted
Love and kisses
Leo and Denise

Wow! I can hardly believe that you guys are there. It is so great to hear that you gat there safetly. I am just wrapping my head around all the new and wondeful experiences your family is having. I am living vicariously through your journal. All is well back in Saskatchewan. My dad is doing well and is now finished his chemo. Talk to you soon!

This travel blog is definitely a good idea! .. Oh ya! I got the disk, thank you again! .. and I realized after I received it, that it was probably at the bottom of some box mixed in with all your stuff! Sorry for the trouble! ..But thank you again, I'm happy to hear that everyones enjoying the experience!
Lots of love, - Monique
Exciting! Hey Guys, wow, what an escapade of getting to your final destination. It sure is a good thing that you never booked yourselves any tighter for time with the train and all. I bet you are very relieved to be there finally; enough talk about it, now you are actually there. Can you believe it, I hardly can. I too super enjoy your blog, keep up the good work!
Lotsa loves from Auntie Genny
Trip to remember!! Thank god it was you in that mass confusion and not me as I ave a tendency to panic. Pictures look great!I'll be anxious to hear what is new and exciting in the days to come. Thought about you often on Sunday and wondered how things were going. Look forward to hearing from you again. Have fun.
Seasoning the young travellers I laughed at your blog title, because when I told Lach how you were getting to Costa Rica, he said "Trains, Planes and Automobiles". Your boys will be able to cope with any and all setbacks in their future travels, because they are learning at a young age that nothing ever goes exactly according to plan. I can't wait to hear about the rest of this week and how things are going. I imagine Ben is happy to finally be in Costa Rica!
What an exciting adventure you guys are having...I just love your blog and hearing about your journey! I have a feeling this is just the beginning of some great and funny stories. Take care and enjoy every minute!
So glad we have gotten in touch Nataghia... Very happy that we have touched base on Facebook. Looking very forward to reading of your adventures over the next year!
Hugs,
Tracey
Have fun! Hey Ron. I finally read the whole blog, and I loved it! You are a wonderful storyteller and I look forward to the upcoming adventure. Since I don't have a life of my own, this will be my little escape. I'm not sure if I've seen your wife in any of the pics, so make sure you put her name on any. Your kids are adorable, take care and have a safe and awesome trip. God bless you and your family during this wonderful opportunity.
Wish I was there Hi - Ron
It sounds like the adventure is well underway. I think your blog will be a great idea, an ongoing history of the year in Central America. You should be a story teller or author, your writing is quite captivating. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Bon Voyage! We are excited for you and wish we were going on a train trip! Everything will work out fine. I never relax until I'm at my destination and through customs and immigration, but I always seem to get there. Travel with a family adds that extra element of worry, but it's always more fun.
THank goodness for technology so we can keep in touch and continue to hear all about your adventure.
