This morning we Decided to walk down to the Gallary Del Accademia and see some ancient art. Here we were pleasantly surprised to see that not only did this house many masterpieces but it also had a special 'music gallery' explaining all about different musical instruments of the 16-18th centuries. Then we visited the Leonardo Da Vinci museum and walked among many of his original invention and saw replicas of his most famous artworks. Yesterday we had our first marvellous day in Venice. First we walked around the city labyrinth of streets and alleys and found a few good places to eat. Then we took their ammazing vapporetto service to the island of Murano to see some master Venetian glass makers shape son glass statues. We also to a ride to the Pallazzo San Marco at night by vapporetto and saw some of the cities amazing lights as well as the famous Rialto Bridge.... read more

today we reached Venice by Night train after a night of fun. Now I am looked forward to a day near the canals of Venice.... read more
