A different combination! We used baby oil and dettol to keep the flies away from our soft skin! We were told to put white spirit with it too but we didn't bother! Whatever the combination, hope it works!
Beautiful photos again and stunning fish! :-) x x
Missing you both We wish you were here too - you would get us camping in the bush. Don't forget there is a nice tent and comfy blow-up mattress! Mum xxx
Beautiful! Go Mum and Dad! Look at all these stunning places you're cramming in! Great photos too, really lovely. Gosh we wish we were there .... although it would be a tight squeeze in Sweetie!!! x x x
Stargazing Hi - great to hear from you. We didn't stargaze as much as we would have liked as there always seemed to be cloud around at night but it was good anyway, Jan
Wow, Parkes Wow, you've been to Parkes. That's somewhere we' like to visit one day. We were only discussing star gazing with Sarah the other day as David had his telescope out to show the boys Jupiter. Have you seen the film based on Parkes, I think it was called 'The Dish', good film anyway.
Hope you are both well, looks like you are having fun!
All well here, your gardens still looking good!

Telescope... PS - We were very excited on Monday night when David got his HUGE telescope out so they could look at Jupiter. However, not even he could compete with the size of the Parkes telescopes!!
One step beyond! Excellent effort with the steps and the walks, you both look very fit and healthy. The weather there looks good too - very envious.
Just been looking at our blog from last year ..... we had already met up with the Elliotts and just about to meet up with the Reeves for the first time. Happy Days! :-)
Lots of love to both of you. Safe Travels

Flash! G'day! Just been watching the news and Qld has hit the headlines over here because of the flash flooding. Hopefully it's no where near you and you are no where near it! Great to see you out and about on the bikes :-)
We've had new windows fitted today, very exciting! Oh, and David got the HUGE telescope out so the boys could see Jupiter. It was like it was 'just over there'!!

Lovely pic! Hey Janet! Lovely picture! In fact, they all are - it's great to be able to see your fab journey around oz on here! Best wishes from a slightly warm UK (for Oct anyway!), Peppa :-)
Great looking waterfalls and beaches! You're finding some awesome spots on your travels. Looks great, somewhere else for our next trip!!
You'll soon be reaching the caravan so Pie and Sweetie will re-unite!!

Don't miss your roots! When you come out of Glen Innes, if you stay inland then you'll start heading toward Stroud and Gloucester - both of which looked lovely when we passed through but we didn't stop so we don't know what we missed! We had to stay off the coast because of the terrible flooding so couldn't go to Port MacQuarie (I've spelt that wrong haven't I!) like we planned but instead stayed at Bretti Reserve next to the river for our first night of free camping and our first experience of a drop loo!!!!

Dog Bite Hi guys - my leg is fine now thanks. Yes, it's difficult to keep up with all the blogs and blogging and not let it take over your life! (how Sarah did such an amazing job we'll never know!) Jan
Dog Bite Hi Jan, Sorry to hear about the dog bite, what an awful experience - in more ways than one, I do hope there are no lasting effects. Anyway, glad to see your adventures continue onto the sunshine coast, I love Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland, Andy and I had our apartment in Alex when we first arrived in Aus (almost 2 years ago now!!) I long to go back there. I must try and catch up reading your blogs..... just a bit behind...

Hi and welcome to our blog. We have set out on our second great adventure in Australia, following in the footsteps of those magnificent bloggers The Wallaby Wanderers. Originally we were due to go in March and spend a few weeks with the Wanderers (daughter Sarah and son-in-law Darryl) but those plans were blown apart by the small matter of a triple heart bypass operation that Graham needed. However, all's well that ends well, Graham is fit and healthy again so we arrived in Aus on the 14th August and picked up 'PIE' the trusty Nissan Terrano that Sarah and Darryl bought last year and 'SWEE... full info
