On our bikes Hi Claire and Simon - the Tour Down Under took place last week but only for a week. It was around Adelaide so we just saw bits on the TV - I think an Aussie won. We'll keep cycling as long as the bikes/bike rack do! Jan xx
Fantastic .... The travelling is obviously doing you both well, you look fantastic and very very healthy! It must be the scones! Shame you missed out on a game of TT. I played for Netherseal last night in a doubles cup match. What with the handicaps, a pen-holder from the prem division and the fact that our opponents won the competition last year we weren't expected to win ..... but we did, by one single point!!
Great photos, keep it up!

glad the bikes had a reprieve! Good to hear you are both safe & well, we've all been thinking of you.
Excellent news that the bikes have had an airing, & that you didn't get soaked in the process. That's more of Dyer holiday experience, I'm sure.
Keep safe & enjoy
Claire & all from Tewks
Calm Waters Hi - yes Ballarat was lucky but little towns nearby were flooded sadly. It was very chilly there though - nearly as cold as at home!! Mum xx
Calm waters Lovely to see the locals on the lake, glad that the weather hasn't caused you any problems around Ballarat. Looking at those beautiful blue skies is making us long for the summer to arrive...but we have a while to wait yet!!

From Kangaroojack Hi Both,
Good blog, so sad what is happening, glad you health is A.OK
Those Naughty Possums, we made a big mistake on Tasmania, I laughed at a Possum, and he and his mate, executed revenge, on us, they are so sweet, but so evil.
Stay Safe, be smart.
Andy
sit tight Hello to Aunty J & Uncle G
We've been watching the news with horror about the flooding in Australia & have been thinking of you both.
Glad to hear that you are both ok.

Happy New Year Hi fellow travellers,
Always forget we can reply to you this way - sorry, we do think of you often. Thanks for the post card, christmas card, photo and electronic Christmas card. Hope by now you both feel better. We had a good Christmas in Bridport and watched the bathers go in for their swim at Charmouth on Christmas Day and at West Bay on Boxing Day. Also saw the Hunt meet at Beominster on the Bank Holiday. Friends joined us in Worton for a few days to see the New Year in.
Looking forward to our trip now but hate these last few days of waiting to go! Hope Aus dries up by the time we arrive in March. We will unsubsribe your blog while away since internet access will be limited and hopefully we can catch up on our return in April. When do you return?
Happy New Year.
Love Gill and Keith
Too Easy Hi - it's not quite so easy for the Poms in Sydney (just as well as we don't think Grant could take any more humiliation!). We really enjoyed our 'gaol experience' but we really needed to spend more time there. xxx Mum
Too much water Hi guys - it's really terrible what's been happening around Rockhampton and to think we were there just a few weeks ago - incredible. Happy New Year to you both and happy travels! Best wishes Jan and Graham
Water Water Every where Hi Both, just having a quick catch up on your adventures. Hope that you had a great christmas.
Lake Forbes was a very different picture to the lake that we saw almost 12 months ago! I recently drove out through Gundagai and found it very disconcerting that the water was lapping up at the edge of the road, one false move and you would be swept away in the strong currents. Hard to believe the difference with the scorched and barren countryside that we witnessed on our arrival in Australia. The farmers here just don't get it easy the rain was such a relief after so many years of drought, but then the rain kept coming.....
I hate the smell of cooked grasshoppers.......
Happy New Year to you both and happy travels.
Mrs Kangaroo Jack
Sling em in Gaol! That's probably what the Aussies want to do with their cricket team at the moment!! Great photos as always. The gaol looks another great place to visit.....one to put on our list for next time!!
lots of love

A special time (for Poms!) Yes, it was wonderful to be there. We're just beginning to feel better now but still have those nickly coughs and sore throats. xxx Mum
Go Poms! Great photos from the MCG, there are so many people envious of your trip to see us bring home the Ashes! Really love that photo of the three of you :-) x x x
PS Sorry about the connection problems on the phone yesterday. We'll be home again tomorrow so will have Skype on if you're about.
Really hope you're both starting to feel much better x x x
It makes up for all the problems! Hi - and we were there to see them win! but it was so cold on Monday at the cricket I've gone and caught a chill and now feel grot. We hope we can get some tyres for a bit less than $160 - we'll let you know. xxx Mum
You blew it too!!! We remember the feeling well, stranded on the side of the road with a shredded tyre. Have you found the key to the padlock yet?! We paid $160 for a caravan tyre in Tom Price so as long as you get a replacement for less than that you'll be quids in!!
Aren't the caravan parks computer systems a pain in the neck! Having to move about is such a waste of time but they all seem to play the same game! Never mind. The cricket is surely making up for it all!!!! x x x
Frozen and Forty!! Thank you very much for my special birthday blog .... and for the gorgeous photo memories! I love our Mother and Child competition photo - the look on my face is brilliant and my complete disregard for the number and refusal to stand up straight were a clear sign of things to come!! What a little angel!!
Prague is very cold and it's still snowing but we are of course having loads of fun as always .... well who wouldn't with every street corner heralding a stand selling Hot Wine!!!!!
Speak to you soon.
Lots of love from both of us

Joyeaux Noel! Bonjour - comment allez vous? Nous vous pensons souvant. We are pleased to be missing the snow but it has been very wet here. It's been a lovely warm day today. Best wishes, Jan and Graham

You're still the one and only! How fab to meet 'another' Graham Kettle albeit with slightly different spelling! What a small world it really is with such decreasing degrees of separation!
There will only ever be one you though Dad!! x x
Safe travels, lots of love from both of us
Hi and welcome to our blog. We have set out on our second great adventure in Australia, following in the footsteps of those magnificent bloggers The Wallaby Wanderers. Originally we were due to go in March and spend a few weeks with the Wanderers (daughter Sarah and son-in-law Darryl) but those plans were blown apart by the small matter of a triple heart bypass operation that Graham needed. However, all's well that ends well, Graham is fit and healthy again so we arrived in Aus on the 14th August and picked up 'PIE' the trusty Nissan Terrano that Sarah and Darryl bought last year and 'SWEE... full info
