"Saved for the Nation" Glengallan Homestead photograph We've noticed a photograph of Glengallan Homestead on your blog page with interest as we were the landscape architects responsible for the re planning of the garden during the rehabilitation of the homestead and have not been back to the site since that time. Would you consider that we could use your photograph on our website description of the project (www.wilsonarchitects.com.au).
Kind regards Beth Wilson
Hi, I just wanted to say 'Thank you' for such an interesting and informative travel blog. I have really enjoyed reading every one of your posts (yes, the whole trip!) and I looked forward to reading each new entry. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your time in our country and I must say I am just a little envious of all the amazing and beautiful places that you visited. Once again thanks for sharing and there really is no place like home!
Back Home Hi - thanks for your comment. We do miss Aus but it's nice to be home even though it's all a bit chaotic at the moment! best wishes, Jan and Graham
It seems to be Autumn Hi guys, sorry that your time to depart the big country finally came but what an awesome journey you have had. I do have a bit of catching up to do on your blogs and only realised at the weekend when i checked on you that you had already flown! I am sure seeing Darryl and Sara at the airport was a welcome sight! I am sure that sweetie and pie will be well looked after and are already looking forward to their next adventure with your family. Hope to see you sometime on this side of the globe or you never know we may see you on the other side of the globe sometime. Take care Caroline aka (kangaroo jack) c
Home! Hi - thanks for your good wishes. It was wonderful to see Sarah and Darryl again and nice to be back in the UK but hopefully Sweetie PIE won't be idly waiting for too long before they are used again. Best wishes to you both, Jan and Graham
Good-bye Hi Jan & Graham, Well the time has finally arrived, it has been very enjoyable to read your blog and see all the places we have not yet visited in our own country. Keep well and safe travels, maybe we will see you again in the great outdoors. Love Carole & Ray xxx (say Hi to Sarah & Daryl)
Bye (for now) Hi Carole and Ray, it's been a great pleasure to meet some of the special people that Sarah and Darryl met up with. We're so pleased to have been able to meet you all. Best wishes, Jan and Graham

Your blog is great! I enjoyed reading it. The photos are beautiful especially the sunsets! hope to see you at Bellevue on the Lakes in the future. http://www.bellevuelakes.com/
Not long now we can hardly believe that you'll be coming home in a few weeks! We are up in the Lake District this weekend with the lads but we aborted our first walk as we needed crampons and only had one set between us - on my feet! we've all got some now tho so are prepared for the morning!!! Give our love to everyone x x x x
Serious Stuff! It all sounds a bit serious - needing crampons! Take care with the mountaineering! Yes, we definitely feel as though we're on the homeward leg - we've just arrived in Shepparton. M&D xxx
Something different ... that's what you always seem to find! Great hedges, fantastic beach and we're so chuffed you got to catch up with your ol' school chum Dad.. Speaking of school chums, Mum - Sue often rings to send her regards....I really must give her a call. Excellent blog as always - really makes us miss Tasmania, we could so easily have settled there. Lots of love, speak to you soon x x x
Celebrations celebrations celebrations Well Jan & Graham, reading your blog and seeing the lovely photo's life seems to be for you a serious of Happy celebrationn: birthday's, christmas and New Year, and David and Mele's celebrations. Lovely to be with Daphne and the family at this time of year. As you say battling the Melbourne heat and unpredictability of storms is another thing.
If you saw the size of the waves on the Coast up here, then imagine us there. The beach was closed for some time and not much swimming. However managed a few good days.
Off to Noosa for a couple of days to share with Shasha and Jason, who tell me the sea is calm, warm and inviting.
Best wishes for 2012 to all of you and exciting and happy times ahead.
Affectionately Annette
cricket at the MCG We were at the caravan but kept up-to-date with the scores. I wonder if Tendulkar will ever grt that 100th 100? We have just seen Derby County win their last three games against higher teams, after a good start to the season, an abysmal last couple of months losing game after game. Let's hope 2012 will see them climb hihher up the table. Bruce is 70 on 7 JAN and I am 75 on 16 Feb. David and wife may be coming over from the US in Feb for 'a weekend'. Happy New Year to you both, See you in March or whenever you return to Blighty. Love Ann & Bruce xxxx
100 100's Hi - Happy New Year to you both and happy birthdays (in advance). Sachin will probably get his 100th 100 in the next few days as the Sydney ground is apparently one of his favourites. J&G xxx

Hi and welcome to our blog. We have set out on our second great adventure in Australia, following in the footsteps of those magnificent bloggers The Wallaby Wanderers. Originally we were due to go in March and spend a few weeks with the Wanderers (daughter Sarah and son-in-law Darryl) but those plans were blown apart by the small matter of a triple heart bypass operation that Graham needed. However, all's well that ends well, Graham is fit and healthy again so we arrived in Aus on the 14th August and picked up 'PIE' the trusty Nissan Terrano that Sarah and Darryl bought last year and 'SWEE... full info
