Woweee! Both projects are completed and we are feeling good! This is after a series of setbacks, as usual! Last Saturday, after breaking down several times, we finally made it to Sakutiek to see how things were going. We arrived to see a group of people clustered around the taps and donkeys being loaded up with jerry cans full of beautiful fresh water! The report was that the taps had been running all day during the previous 4 days and they had not run dry, which was absolutely fantastic news. It seems that the fresh water is so popular that they now estimate that it will serve over 3,000 households.
