Been there ... still there ... lovin it! Haha, you haven't experienced anything until u live here. Take it from somebody who knows, just moved here last year and fell in love with the place, though happy to take vacations from time to time!
Tell ur friends to visit, and that Vietnam is so totally misunderstood.
Sat On! You’re lucky to be alive Pete; those Tigers are born killers I tell ya. They especially don’t like being sat on! Like what you’re doin in ‘Me Tiger 1’ it’s disrespectful! LOL
tigers and toothpicks Lovely to read the blog again Pete! Well, thanks for the tip, I will never visit Thailand without a toothpick. The tigers look so huge, so real and alive, and so powerful... I don't know how you did that. xxxmumxxx
hello there Ha! So you are alive then if you're able to write a new blog entry! well Mister, I have to say I am a bit disappointed with your qualities in "keeping in touch" ;) : Where the hell are you? Still in Australia? Or back home? How much time to travel around is actually left?? Guess what, a few days ago I showed our funny video (elefant trip in Pai) to a few friends, soooo funny!! Did I actually burn the video with our stupid train conversations about piercings in the nighttrain from Chiang Mai to Bangkok on the CD I gave to you, too? Cause I randomly found that video a few days ago on my computer and the one we did in Bebop Bar with the live band. Ah well, I miss Thailand!
So how are you?? I know I asked you that about a million times and I also know how hard it is to write to everyone at home when being abroad but hey, would be really cool to hear how you're doing down under ( and eventually I will stop asking for a mail from you ;)) ! [anne-sophies_e-mail@gmx.de, in case u lost it!]
So anyway, I'm in my second semester at uni, having a great flat with wicked roomies and the best friends ever, Berlin rocks and all in all I'm doing quite good I guess. Just miss travelling.
Ok I'll stop spaming your whole comments list.
Have fun and hey, great picture of that bed in the night train ;)
Sharing? Why didn't James share the scorpion with you? Very bad manners. Despite the unkind enviroment, the Tigers look healthy and wow aren't they magnificent.
jumbofun (...and i remember KISSING that dear little silky baby bottom!!) The elephant experience looked/sounded excellent! I can see why you want to revisit Thailand before coming home -loveyou,mumx
Welcome back Arrived home from Sydney today and I'm very confused - I could have sworn the two chaps I dined and drank with there were you and James... It was lovely to see you both looking so well and I was impressed with the red backs and the funnel web!
Welcome back online Started writing this before and it disapeared. Visited Chang Mai two years ago and it was misty when we went up to the top of temple. So glad you are back on line - you write so well. Tamsin is catching up with your blogs as had an email from Paul her bloke saying she is in Laos seeing gibbons so probably doing the same trip as you did. Unfortunately she is also mentioning the odd moped experience too!!
wow he really does still live!!! sweety, I hope you have a wicked time down under but how about replying a mail every now and again....would be really good to hear something from you again!
Congratulations that you finally managed to keep on writing this blog, can't believe Pie and Ko Pha Ngang are still missing ;-) But I guess you'll get there eventually. Soooo, good to know you're fine and say hello to your little cousin ;-)
miss ya
hey, guess what... the braclet still hasn't come off!
Hiya Looks fantastic, i want to go there now!!!!, Heard uve now ended up in Australia?? Hope its not been too much of a shock to the system. hope ur well. xx
WOW!! It looks fantastic!!! To think there are places in the world like that, untouched by any kind of civilisation. The zip wires looks like a right laugh, like something i use to do at P.G.L as a kid but much bigger!!!
Glad you are having the time of your life! I've just started Uni so i get to be a student again! horraah!!
Take care of urself m8 xxx
worth waiting for You kept us waiting for this one-but WAS it worth waiting for!..I know I could never do, or have done the gibbon thing, as you know I can't do heights for a start, amongst other things. I'm just not adventurous enough. But I'VE BEEN NOW!!! Reading the blog, seeing the photos, and the brilliant videos, it just felt as if I was there. What a fantastic experience. Its Sun. eve, you'll be on your way to Australia now, maybe even there?Wonder what experiences await you???Keep on letting us all share them. Love you - mumx
Wow!!! Oh my god....that looks absolutely amazing. Sounds like you def had the time of your life with that experience!! The zip lines look like great fun and i have to say the comedy bear looks sooooo cute!!! Take care of yourself. x x
MORE VIDEOS PLEEEAAAAASE! It was nice to see you in real life action... not just a still picture!
Those shoes are lush. I hope you're going to bring them home with you! The whole experience looks so scary. Mum would hate it as she is totally shit scared of heights. Mind you so am I...but i could still see myself doing it. How did you get into the treehouses? One minute you were on the ground, the next you were in a tree? Or did the zip lines go from the ground to the trees? I'm confooosed!
SO ...oz next. Make sure you let us know when you get there.
Miss you loads, pooface!
from your darling sister, eleanor.xxx
The Blog's Dollops Dear Pete, where have all the blogs gone? I spose there's not a lot more to say about buckets and beach and stuff. I expect, actually, you're a bit bored. The coup was a real nuisance - you'd be in Malaysia now otherwise... When you do get to Australia, are you going to register with an agency? apparently they get you work really quickly. You're going to need some funds, life won't be any where NEAR as cheap.... lots of love x
the bikes are the best bit Now then pete.
I have lived in thailand for the last 2 years and think its fucking great.I had never been on a bike bigger than a 250cc till i went out and bought a ZX9 900cc ninja.

Hola Hey Pete, Your blogs are wicked...There was a documentary about the 'Killing Fields' in Cambodia the other day and I watched it after reading your blogs about you being there, you defo explained it loads better! I think you should become a full time travel writer for sure! Life is normal as ever, work, weekends getting drunk. I've been on holiday with Gem's to Ibiza and I'm off to Portugal for a spot of surfing in 3 weeks. Sounds all very boring compared to your fantastic adventures. Make sure you keep us posted and take care sweets. Big Hugs xxx
