Geo: 25.729, -80.2374We are home after our 32 day journey. From Windsor, to Cape Horn and back with lots of stops along the way. We did planes, trains, buses and of course boats. We saw natural wonders of the world and man-made wonders of the world. Starting after a quick city tour of Buenos Aires, it was off to the amazing Iguazu Falls. Finally to the ship with a couple of stops before we see the Cape. The weather was as expected for the location but we saw what we came to see, the southernmost point of South America. Now heading north, the southernmost city Ushuaia had spectacular views. Saw our penguins, glaciers and the bonus Orca family. Off through the Chilean Fjords to the Pacific. Geo: -13.1628, -72.5158Now for the day we were waiting for. A morning trip to Ollantaytambo started the day. The main features are the terraces used for agriculture. The Inca never built on fertile land. They also built terraces to extend this fertile land. On the side of the terraces was part of an Inca trail. Not sure where it goes but I walked it. There are thousands of Inca trails in South America. I walked on one! I think I am the only person in the group that did. We boarded the Orient Express, Hiram Bingham train to the base of Machu Picchu. The name Orient Express inspires luxury and this train had it.
