Snow! Those of us in the NW did not want you to forget what winter is about! We have about 6" on the ground now and temperatures have been cold...down to 5 degrees. I think we are about to come out of this winter blast...at least I hope so.
Stay warm!

while in Mesa... While you're in Mesa, be sure you visit the Gilbert Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert. You'll get great waterfowl and bird photos there.
The snow is a familiar sight to us here in the high country. We have snow this morning and are supposed to get up to five inches by tonight. A warmup is on the way though, and spring is not far off. Have fun in Mesa!
Hiss On, Snake! Congratulations on your latest Victory! all the while having fun ethically, with the occassional competitive cat calls...good clean fun, glad to hear about it. Safety first, longevity more probable, well said by you.
Safe/Fun Journey,
John
scrumptious indeed
Nice photo shots of your meal there Paddy. Given that reality is a 'bitch' you 3 seem to be having the time of your life.
We are well enough here. It is terribly cold on a daily basis. Ruth and I head to Pam Springs on March 14th for 4 days.
Staying at an upscale hotel that has a PGA golf course attached. I'm bringing my clubs and plan to roll the dice as well as the ball. Too cold to play or practice here so I might be a bit rusty. I bought some good looking and stylish microfiber pants (Greg Norman line with the emblem of a shark on the belt line).
Continued happy travels!
Love, Thomas John
Cold in Oly Hey You guys, we have snow and rain mix in Oly but my daffidils are up and growing!! We are off to Cabo for two weeks Feb 19- March 5, can't wait. Galen and Kaya will hold the fort down. Looking forward to your return in April. Lots of love to you, Ada
First time visitor Thanks to Eons, I met you, and have discovered your beautiful photography. Love the idea of going on a photographic safari. I don't believe, like many people claim, that if you see the world through your camera lense, you miss out on alot. Just the contrary,- we try to capture just that beauty, ...and back home, enjoy it over and over again .
Greetings from Germany!

Valentine's Day Dinner Looks like a great spread, pardner! You certainly had Shaddy droolin'!
For change, we decided to go out for V's Day dinner - found a great new restaurant near South Mountain - in a moment of romantic weakness, I even had a vase of roses delivered and waiting on our table when we arrived. Mare was both stunned and pleased!
Lookin' forward to your visit next month.
Dave and Mare
Howdy you guys! Hi Paddy! We went out on Sunday night, and it still..... was busy, so with shrimp on the barbie, I would have stayed in too! Glad you two are having fun. Photo of reflection in wine glass is interesting, really; does the world turn upside down when you drink? teehee
It's raining and cold here, snow falling a little higher up, so I envy Nancy taking swimming exercise classes, or dining outdoors. Glad you are both having a good time though.
Take care, and thanks for sharing with me. Tell Nancy "hello" from the Lemon....

Wow, that meal looked delicious. Good enough to eat. Glad you are enjoying your stay in Tucson. Every thing is going well here. I started theraphy on my hand yesterday. I still have to wear the brace for several weeks, but with my fingers sticking out I have a little more use of my hand. Take care. Livvie
Mission San Xavier del Bac I fell in love with the white dove of the desert
when I was 13 and I still have the pictures I took in 1956.
So glad you two photographers got to meet up for a shoot
Please stay warm....Julia
Mission Pat and I visited the mission one Sunday in July a few years back. A dog slept in front of an oscillating fan while Mass was being celebrated. We sat in pews and sweated. July is not exactly the coolest month of the year to visit Tucson!
Stay warm!
Photo picks I like #'s 14, 15, and 16. You should promote those pix to architects, and architectural magazines. I know you had a great time taking photographs, good for you.
I enjoy traveling and photography in the USA and Canada. In 2009, my trailboss and I upgraded from a lightweight, fold-out, tent trailer to a more comfortable 5th wheel with slideouts. Retired, we spend winters in southern Arizona, and summers in the Pacific Northwest. We are old, retired, on social security and medicare. Push button camping is more suited to our condition.
Many of my "wildscapes" images are offered for view and sale at my online gallery; NW Exposures. And I enjoy writing about our travels and photo safaries.
