How can you not get into football?!?! Once you become a college student it gets into your blood!!! lol
I'm glad you updated this. I was super bored on the computer and looking at all my favorites and came across your site and I was like "hmm I wonder if she has updated yet..." Your stories are always interesting. I am also really glad you love your job! And I'm also impressed that you were one of the lucky people to get hired! Congrats!
Call me!!! lol
bike hire Forget the yellow bikes. I wasn't prepared to leave documentation (e.g passport, card) in order to hire them. Far better to go to the Locations Cycles bicycle-hire shop behind the aquarium...very good service and cheaper if you want to hire bikes for a few days. La Rochelle is a beautiful place and to use a bike as means of transport is a great way to get around.
- Communications - Bonsoir,
I saw you were studying communications... as I do, in Montréal! But... what is the point with MATHS, ARCHEOLOGY AND RELIGION? Are they electives or part of the COMS courses?!? I saw you are doin' a major. You do a B.A. in COMS, right? It's just... I WANT SO MUCH to study in London for a year, in COMS... and I'm wondering how it works....!!!!
Merci à l'avance,
Mélanie
- Français - Voilà un beau voyage que vous avez fait Mademoiselle! :)
Your french is good; you are able to identify gender of words (la tour, le bateau)!
SEEMS SO EXITING!
Mélanie
Hey! :)
I'm from Québec, the french part of Canada, and I have to say I really enjoy reading your blog! Haha! Reminds me my 5 months in Europe! Also, your experience is really interesting... I want to leave Montréal to go study in UK too in 2 years!
Merci, and don't give up! :)
Mélanie
appreciation Thanks for taking the time to write about la Rochelle. We are going there in May and you've given me lots of tips. I wonder where all the yellow bikes are?
Hey "Cor - another expression of surprise, somehow this stems from Blimey?"
Comes from the expression 'Cor Blimey'. Hope that helps.
Loving the blogs, by the way. Hope you're having a great time in the UK.
Guess what! Edgewood is having a trip over spring break to.......LONDON! How ironic?! I want to go on it so I can come visit you! But at the same time it's really expensive. I heard you called on Sunday, but I didn't get to talk to you because I was working. So call again soon! please!
I am an American student, that lived in London for a year. Now I am back in plain ol' Tallahassee Florida. I'm majoring in Communications with minors in International Affairs and British Studies. And I currently have a nose bleed.
