Sounds fun Copan sounds fun. I live in Comayagua and I plan on visiting Copan this summer. Sounds like you kept yourself pretty busy while here in Honduras, I'm glad the weather cleared up for your visit. Good blog. How did you get the banner of Copan at the top of your blog? It looks great.
In Search of the Legendary Working Windmill I am glad to learn that you do plan to do some travel before law school! Germany is a great place to do it! I look forward to reading your blogs....
I have to confess that I have been very late publishing blogs as of lately... Since the Netherlands, I have written two other blogs about two other trips, but the pictures are still sitting on my home computer's hard drive waiting to be selected... and I have not been home long enough to do it...
Glad you're blogging some more! Sounds like you had an interesting adventure in The Netherlands... very off the beaten path. :) Both Naarden and Weesp sound very enchanting; now I have two more places to add to the list of places to go! And as always, your photos always inspire me, and make me jealous I'm not traveling too! Good luck with the rest of your time in Amsterdam.
I really admire your photos. You are such a Professional photographer. The way you write it reminds my trip to Amesterdam in this summer.
Enjoy your trip.
Xi'an Erratic Traveller, The Beijing Olympic Games will end on August 24.. Depending of when in September you will be in the area, I would strongly recommend considering this side-trip.
If these games are anything like previous ones, China should be back to normal by the beginning of September.
I've been wondering whether to try and fit Xi'an into my September visit to China. This is definitely encouragement. (But since the olympic tourists will all be there I'll probably give it a miss this year.)
Lucky Traveller During dinner at Le Candille there was a large party sitting not far from ours that was arriving directly from the festival... I don't know who they were exactly but apparently they were related to one of the films competing there (they certainly had the "look")... Also, there were several Rolls parked in front of the hotel with drivers and all, that I am sure some of the VIPs were also staying there.
Lucky traveler I have always wondered about the atmosphere there in Cannes!
Did you have any "brush with greatness?" among the vip's.My published travel writings focus mainly on Texas, so I really enjoy this site and photos.
Watermark The software that I use does the watermark fairly automatically on both the high and low resolution... Not doing the watermark for the low-res would actually take some extra effort and disk space.
Exciting! Sounds like you're having the ideal business trips in the South of France, and your pictures look like you've been able to really get away and see some great places/meet new people. Hope your luggage shows up soon!!
You found it! Luis, you are amazing! You can find "something" in the middle of the largest "nothing" on the planet! I was working there for 2 weeks last year and the best thing I found about Vegas was the fact that it was down the road from Zion and Bryce... I avoided "The Strip" like the plague!
You have an amazing ability to separate the "wheat from the chaff"... I certainly couldn't do it! :-)
Gorgeous Photos! Clear blue skies seem to be a constant feature in Nevada. Strong gusts of wind made it sometimes difficult to approach the rim of the canyons without risking getting to their bases sooner that you would prefer ;-)
Pics Sergio, We should plan on spending at least a couple of weeks around this area of the World... Can you imagine the imagery that the three of us could capture?
:) Just one word: incredible!
Okay maybe some more. :) I can't count how many times I've also thought about people of the future might view our civilization years from now; I just wonder if we'll leave the same impressions as people who left the rock drawings. It's amazing how you can say so much about a place that usually is just told in photographs! Can't wait for your next blog!
Like the First Time! Thanks Jim! Good to hear from you... I hope that you are doing fine. I imagine that your koi pond is about to hit high gear with the warmer months just ahead...
Don't you just love NYC... Oh man, I was just in NYC and seeing your pictures really made me wish I were back--especially with the Central Park ice skaters. I was there for law school visits, but did make a point to do some exploring like yourself. Even though I've been there before, there is still so much to see in that city, even if you don't go to the major sites. It's refreshing to read that just by taking a walk or changing routine that you can see the world you live in. I loved reading this! :)
Hello!
Welcome to my travelblogs!
More than anything, these blogs are a means for capturing my thoughts and experiences as I wander the World. Though they are now useful for sharing these experiences with friends and family, I hope that they will also help me relive the experiences someday when my memories become dulled by time.
I have been fortunate enough during my lifetime to have straddled the developing and developed areas of the planet. During my childhood in my native El Salvador, I was amused but extremely curious about these strange visitors that a... full info
