hi there!! ol_boss, I was just reading ur blog n I think it's very xcitin', what u have seen so far. I'm from Poland and I haven't started this exciting lifestyle yet. Your photos and article is very interesting, so I learned very much about Balkan countries. I wish you good luck in your travelling experiences and I'm keeping an eye on your blog for even more interesting stuff.
My hometown Weird... I live in Olomouc for 20 years, I love Prachett's books and I've never realized that we've got The Discworld right around a corner :D I was looking for some pics of DW on the internet and I found my hometown... Really weird, isn't it? :D
Oh, they ... always right! Or ... Americans (and anglos in general) as "free" and "democratic" ... It's just the BS they are born with ... like a retarded tatoo they carry all their lifes.
you're officially European - you just used the word "touristic"
and you'd better belieeeve you will be writing your next blog from Sarajevo...
loving the goat road sign :o)
"...a Proud country with fighting in its blood..." "...a Proud country with fighting in its blood..." I am trully curious to know what your opinion is going to be when in 20 years the English, French, Dutch, and many other nations spend some time cleansing the Arabs out of Western Europe.....Last time I checked all these countries have a rich history of violence....It is comical how people like yourselves overlook that...Almost as comical as Turks being regarded as civilized people in todays world....
Hey, great to hear from you!... and i'm glad you enjoyed the read :) i'm not sure if i've got your e-mail? mines my name @gmail.com with no spaces or anything. Send me an e-mail when you get back to the UK.
Later,
K
hi kerry its caroline here, noel told me u had a blog going on and well yeah it was definitely worth reading! moscow looks awesome; so you are in scotland at the moment ? i'll be heading back in september so hopefully we will be able to catch up. havent sorted out a flat or anything since i am abroad. Berlin is fabulous, if you get the chance you should come over to complete the travel experience! good luck mate and see you soon. cx
Awesome! Hi Kerry!
Was on the website checking out pics of Bangalore in India (my next trip, in 3 weeks' time, cannot wait) and what do I find? A picture of Baatar downing vile vodka, awesome! That one of the sunset is stunning too. It's really good to see all those pics and think back at our time in Mongolia, it was quite an experience.
Hope you're well, i'm settled down in Paris now, things are okay.
Take care,
M
tin-ass nice one mate. As usual your tinny ass comes out smiling ;). I got your txt when you went boarding but had forgotten about it until I read the blog. Good luck with the shift to Glasgow - we'll be busy working on our tan in the Canaries. A few of us a comtemplating a boarding mission in February (provided winter actually arrives), so maybe it wont have been your only day after all.
Oh fuck.. I must've been paying SO much attention to the talent, the title slipped my mind :/ Shall we just say full credit, and Shakespeare was the winner on the day :)
well, it goes to show how much attention you paid - it was Much Ado About Nothing...
but now that you've started on the whole classics road, I see no reason for you to stop, so perhaps I shall send you some Dickens to be going on with.
Yeah, it's a cool spot :) .. and I hear only good things about Glasgow too - so exciting! :) You never filed in the Flixter survey! how am I supposed to know if we can choose videos together when you come to visit!??
In time.. in time.. I figured since you're obviously not coming home in a hurry, somebody had better prop up the economy in the meantime ;) I'm back in Poland for christmas, but we should throw some disc when you finally show up in the bonnie land!
missing the best Hey hey Kerry,
Congratulations on stealing one of our jobs. I'd better not be getting back to Blighty only to find that I'm being squeezed out of work by an over-qualified and under-employed Scottish geologist! But what's this, you're visiting Scotland and yet you haven't yet visited the most important place: Aberdeen!!!! I hope this is just an oversight on your part which will soon be corrected.
Erik (tchecossais).
It's not so hard.. Thanks.
Um.. story? A month or so before Christmas I was looking ahead to another year of work.. it wasn't looking like so much fun, so I decided to flag it. I stopped eating, drinking, and spending for several months, sold a few non-essentials and bought a ticket for Mongolia.
I've probably spent around 2500euro to date.. Maybe not as much as you'd think (guys I know back home easily spend that on shiny wheels for their car).
As for figuring out where to go next, I'm heading west to find a job in the UK. I generally just take things as they come, if somewhere looks unusual and there's a chance i'll meet someone who doesn't speak english - I'll give it a go :)
You should give it a go, and send me a link to your blog :) Careful though, it's addictive.. and as cash dwindles, the limit on my credit card is looking more and more appealing :/
