Second & Third Week Oh! Whould I love to hike through NZ. It indeed is very beautiful! I wonder how long it will take for pollution to damage what nature has taken so long to create. I hope the people of NZ learn from the greed and stupidities of the US and the destruction of our environment in the name of "progress."
Happy Thanksgiving!

Living vicariously Bruce, you look soooooo happy and relaxed in these photos. You were meant to be a New Zealander! This trip was definitely a great idea! All the best!
It looks all so beautiful!! I think there is no need to decide on your future plans right now. Take in the present and because a present is a gift. Savor the moment and it will all fall into place.
Thanksgiving is here again...but alas, a smaller crowd. We'll call Thanksgiving night, any time better than another?
my comments about your comments hi bruce & diane
love your commentary about nz
really helps me better understand what life is like for eli, and all of you
i've been to australia - sydney, and many things you write seem a bit similar
perhaps you could write a column about nz for your albany newspaper...you make wonderful observations, and are very funny
i look forward to your blogs
i am still trying to figure out the time in nz...i think you are 15 hours ahead, which is very weird
so, continue to have fun on your own, with the children - some children!
love to all
larry

What a trip! We have so enjoyed following your tremendous adventure. We are living vicariously through you. Can't wait to see what you'll do next. Doing our best to keep tabs on the "Folks". We told the Cronin's that your Mom needs a refund for this year. It's amazing how she bounces back. TTFN, Lois & Tom McP

This is great I love the blog, Diane I am so jealous. I joke with my husband and ask him if he was to just drop everything and move to New Zealand every once in a while. No go so far.
We miss you at SWH!
caught up Finally, I've reached the point where I stopped going backwards. What a trip! Your narrative is delightful.
Looking forward to next installment, not that I know where to look.
Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing.

Island hopping How did you manage to not gain weight? The meals look and sound great? Did you learn how to make those cute animals out of towels? Great idea for Christmas gifts.
Enjoy!
