Quite an adventure! Wow! Your mini "vacation" was quite an adventure! We are so happy Erik is on the mend, and you have saints above looking out for your bouts with germs, waves, and zealous policemen. Keep up the great work with the kids -- we love the pictures and the travel blog. Love to you both, Kristie and family. (wanted to call on New Year's, but the X-mas call cost $138!! So, Happy New Year! :-)
what is the world for jealous without the bad controlling aspects? I wish I could come down there and spend some time with you lovely smelly shaggy folks. I'm off to Haiti again next week and I've got to say the pic of the kids getting the polenta and a couple of other ones could be haiti without a problem.
More photos, more stories. NOWNOWNOW. please.
Oh Snap! There is an update! Awesome! Great to hear about the Gombe trip!
Hope to hear more in the future...hope you are both doing quite well!

Heart to Heart there with you I am elated to read this.
in the bucks county, pa library with some snow outside, melting.
Can't wait to give your nephews the update at bedtime...I will though. They can fall asleep with thoughts of Aunt Angel and Uncle Eric with the falling monkey and the cool water and the jungle full of friends. SO tempting to ...
staying in bucks county for now, staying put, staying in one place...Wanderlust by association.
love you and love all the people who are close and sharing your life out there.

Amazing!!!!! Hello Angel and Erik,
How wonderful to hear you both are doing so well. Lovely to hear your exciting stories and to see the pix. Hey Erik, let's see some of your
photography. One of my colleagues is reading Jane's bio and I'll be thrilled to let her see your blog. God Bless!!
Love Nel
Doing good, you two do-gooders! Dear Angel,
I like the way you tell a story- and the fotos attached add salt to the flavor of your blog... Next blog, it'd be nice to hear the both of you, perhaps in dialogue! I think I know a fellow nearby that might be able to handle dialogue...
Restez près des bras forts et des yeux clairs de ce camarade. Restez sûr, et apportez ces histoires de nouveau à New York.
Love and regards,
Jeffrey
Exploring suburbia back home We, too, have had some truly amazing adventures back home. Just yesterday, we went to Target and found that the EXACT kind of deoderant we were looking for... was on SALE! Unbelievable. I mean, it's not every day that that happens. I meant to take a picture of it on the shelf with all the other things on sale (!), but as you can imagine I was too overwhelmed to get an in-focus shot. I can tell you, though, it was such an emotional rush that I was hot and sweaty, with my heart pounding, nearly delirious with the sheer emotional weight of it all... it's a good thing the puddles in the parking lot were all frozen over, or else I would have sent Andreas ahead and jumped in for a refreshing dip! I wish you could have been there. It might have been the Most Exciting thing that's happened to you All Month! Seriously. Ah well, YOUR loss...
;)
hello to my favorite ex pats!! i can't believe you worried about the elections ;-) I knew it was wrapped up in the bag...As it turns out a friends ex boy (ben did you meet him while you were out there) was working on the campaign with armen. I am in london my travel has been a bit more wetern in focus..have been chasing around babies. the one i am visiting now is quite cute and man can she scream! I hope you both are well. I miss you guys.
Hey guys, I totally understand. I was pretty crappy at keeping my 'readers at home' informed when I was in Ghana and we didn't even have any electricity problems there... and the pics take hours to upload... I ended up downloading an image re-sizer so you can make all your pics small and quicker to upload on to the net.
But I have to admitt, it is nice to read up on what and how you guys are doing, even if it is at random.
Look forward to hearing more news!! Hope you guys are well and enjoying hte lovely Africa!
Love Naomi
You're Alive!!! YAY!!! I read this! And hope to continue to get updates! I want to hear all about what you're working on and hope to see pix as well! Hope you're learning alot and enjoying every minute of that wonderful opportunity!
Miss you lots! - xoxo
We are an engaged couple signed up for a six month stint in Tanzania. We are based in Dar Es Salaam now and are planning to leave for Arusha a week from this Tuesday. Learning Swahili as quickly as we can and cursing the folks who swore it was easy! When are 5 different classes of nouns easy???
We promise to try to remain current in the updates.
Salama!
