around the world Hey Jane & hubby, I read your most recent blog. Saw the pix. I have not checked this blog for I have dial up ISP and until I updated Yahoo, I couldn't get to the blog. I want to tell Jane I have one Dorking chix and 17 Dominique chix, hatched here under broody hens. One more hen due to hatch 11 eggs from my mixed flock the day after the full moon. They should come out with martinis in one hand, cigarette in the other and party till dawn! Have you tried "Eat for Your Type" to loose weight? This diet has to do with blood type and different diets for individual blood types. Works for me and several others I know. But keeping weight off is a lifestyle, not a fad. I hope you have a good time visiting friends and family and know if you want to stop in to visit my flocks, you are welcome. Space is tight here in my small home, but we can figure something out, even if I get my mom's RV hooked up for a couple of days. Wishing you the best! Cynda
Wonderful blog! I'm so enjoying reading about your travels... in fact, it's monopolized quite a bit of my time today... I've read from start til now and I'm going to call it a night! :-) Enjoy your travels!
Come stay in Madison! It would be great if you could come up and stay with my family in Madison! The city is great, and you really haven't met Shelby and Derek. We've got plenty of room. Give me a call.
Earth Travellers Hey you two earth travellers, there cannot be a spot that you have not been to!!!!!!!!!!! Great to hear all you blog news and you both look tremendous under the Eifel Tower, or shall we say, miniscual. Loads of love, George and Venitia, in South Africa.
Wonderful Stories Michael, I have loved following your travels via the blog. I see we Flannelly descendants share the gift of story-telling and the determination of detectives. I hope to meet you and Jane one of these days. Best regards, Maureen
What a trip!!! You guys are really hitting all the high spots. I am sure you are going to enjoy the ship again. By the way we have booked a passage from Cape Town to Genoa for March/April next year. We then plan to sail in Croatia & hopefully find a Home Swap in the Greek Islands. We hope the family will join us there. All the best. George & Venitia.
Keep up the great work I know you guys are having a lot of fun . . . you always do!
We are back and traveling locally (So.FLA, N.J., Sarasota) to catch up with family & friends.
We'll be on 3 cruises the next few months. Carib. (ugh!) w/ family, Venice Italy trans w/Denise, and another Carib w/ family again.
We HATE the Carib - we've been there 45 times! but these are with family who do not like to FLY anywhere....
So we are going - just to get away, eat, and be on a cruise ship. Denise's brother is not too well, so we are trying to spend as much time w/ him as possible.
I am just now finishing MY Blog (from Cape Town to Rome) because I had so much to do upon return.
Love your format and photos - keep in touch!
Fond Regards,
Ron

Bella Italia Michael, just want you to know I have been following your blog postings. I am glad you are now in one of my favorite places - Italia. We were there in 2008 and make the trek to the Adriatic Coast to visit the little village where my father was born in 1927. My Italian roots there (Montorio Nei Frentani) go back to the early 1700s (post maternal and paternal). Even with my weak Italian, I felt so at home there and plan to go back in 2013. I walked the cobblestone street where my father and grandparents were born and we just loved it there. Have a great time!! Maureen
Tuscany. Is'nt it GREAT!!. We actually stayed on a farm just outside of Montipulciano. Great for painting subjects also. Thanks for keeping us informed. By the way you are both looking slim & trim. Keep up the good work.
Cheers, George & Venitia.
