It's amazing to hear how the kids are responding so positively to everything. We all know when you set your mind on
something it gets done. Their parents must be so greatful for all of your time and knowledge you are sharing with them.
It's great to see what a wonderful impact you are having there in Nepal.
You are all doing the work of the angels. I am so proud of the Grosse Pointe School representation. Nikki, you are missed! One observation, you all look hot! See you soon,
Love,
Viv
howdy Hey Nikki --- How cool what u r doing in Nepal. I lived there for a couple of months many moons ago and loved it as much as u do. Monkeys held me captive on the stairs to the temple and stole my hard boiled eggs. People wonderful, mountains magical. r there still cake shops in Kathmandu? Do u mean Dori Martinuzzi? Take good care, work sounds special, have a wonderful time.
AWESOME! I am touched by what you ladies are doing. I love seeing the faces of the kids and the joy on all of your faces. I'm sure it's hard work - but your blessings will be tripled by what you are doing. Planting seeds that hopefully will grow into a great community. I'm anxious to hear the stories when you get back!
How cool! This looks amazing! Dori scrubbing an elephant. Wow. Can't wait to hear about what you are able to do at the autism center! (We could use a baby elephant at ESY...)
love, Sue
Whew! Girl, you never cease to amaze me. Of course I knew that your crew would experience much more than expected! Hope you don't mind that I send your links to Lauri, Lori, Aileen and my cousin Linda. BE SAFE and look for a package of notes and pictures from our 'boring' life here, when you get home! LOVE YOU, MAMA
Nikki and Dori, Your trip sounds incredible. Bathing and scrubbing an elephant would be right up there as one of those miraculous moments in life! I hope to hear more about your work with the children. Thinking of you fondly, Sonja
What a trip! Love hearing all the details of your experience. Your efforts for autism are wonderful- thank you for all you do. Be safe and enjoy the journey!
What a beautiful paradise! Thank you so much for sharing your adventure. I loved the story of the elephant - and can just imagine Dori crying at that awesome experience. I enjoyed reading your blog and seeing all the pictures. Please add more when you have a few minutes. So hello to Dori and AnnMarie, too, please.
Nikki's back Hi Nikki, so happy everyone made it safely. It's just such a great thing you are doing, always thinking of helping others. Great pics however the monkeys being everywhere kind of freak me out a little. Give it your all, and be safe. Love Terri
Nikkilovestotravel I'm not blog or facebook-friendly (as if you didn't know!) Will work on it next week. Ted and I are leaving for Vickie/Ron's place Friday afternoon. No good i-net or cell service but will take my computer anyway.
What would Pop say? Take a break. You got rocks in your head. Think of Gramma smiling at you and rock on!! xox
Super woman. Hey Niki. I'm so glad your trip seems to be going well. You always take the best pictures. I hope the rest of your trip is amazing and safe. Call me when you get back so you can tell me all about it and we can chat. I'm super proud of you that you worked so hard and it all finally came through. xoxoxo-
Meg
