You pictures are really nice! it looks like you had a great time.
I am currently living in Korea and I would like to go to the sea parting event that is taking place in 2 weeks but i am having troubles finding a place to stay. How did you find your accommodation? We are 7 people and we would like to find something cheap. Is it possible to find it online or do you recommend to just go there and look at hotels on site? Because of the event, I'm scared that it might be full.
Thanks for your help!
Jindo sea parting event Hi there! I definitely recommend making your way over to the sea parting. We ended up staying in Mokpo, a nearby city, because we knew that lodging would be limited in Jindo. Normally, we would just show up and look for lodging, however I wouldn't recommend this because there will be so many people visiting for the event. Mokpo is less than an hour away by bus and the city itself has some fun stuff to do after you're done with the sea parting. That would be my recommendation. In Mokpo, we just showed up and found a love motel. Good luck!
PP to Coron Hello. There are some small airlines in the Philippines that fly from Puerto Princesa to Coron. I think Cebu flies there, as well as Philippine Airlines. Flying is the fastest option and it should also be fairly cheap
thanks! Thank you for the compliment. Coron is a fantastic place to visit, it's definitely off the beaten path a bit and very exciting. Yes, the plane can be a bit shaky, but it's about 40min from Puerto Princesa to Coron so you barely have time to feel uneasy.
Baywalk Baywalk used to be a busy area before they changed mayors. The Current mayor took all of the restaurants statues and other businesses there. it used to be much more fun. but for you to enjoy baywalk in its current state visit it in the afternoon just before the sunset and see the majestic beauty of the bay as it has the most beautiful sunset in the world..... here's a photo that I took on one of my walks... I did not edit this photo its as it is...

Stunning Photography These are stunning photos. Shame on me, I have not been to Coron (too afraid to take the light planes) but I know I'd get there sometime soon. Only managed Puerto Princesa. Hey, nice to know you had a wonderful time judging by your blogs. Cheers!

coex aquarium at first i thought the bowl was streaked with brown s..t, but then i looked closer and realized the little fishes swimming around..interesting photographers' eye you have..i enjoy your pics... keep up the good work.
yes it's dirty but... you have to remember, it's not Europe. Southeast Asia, along with its beauty and exotic sights, comes with a bag of problems, mainly sewage problems and cleanliness. Don't let that discourage you, KL offers so much: history, exotic foods, shopping, temples, Chinatown, modern architecture.
for Joanne Thanks for the praise and happy almost 40th! There are lots of places in Malaysia that would make for a great birthday celebration, it just depends on what your interests are. If it was my birthday, I would probably love a beachside holiday full of diving, snorkeling, sunbathing, and island hopping. In that case I would definitely recommend Langkawi. I have also heard wonderful things about Pangkor Island, a much less developed, exotic, and somewhat remote location. If you plan to travel around Malaysia, you get a great feel of the country by mixing Kuala Lumpur for big city life, Taman Negara for a "roughing it" jungle experience, and Langkawi for relaxing island time. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions, or if you would like details about where to stay, what to see etc. If you let me know what kind of trip you're looking for I'd be happy to provide you with more details.
brilliant blog Hi just wanted to thanks you for your blog! its amazing. we are going for 3 weeks for april/may for my 40th! do you have any recomendations on what we should definately include? particularly somewhere fab for a few days for the big 40? thanks Joanne
actually when I said "Brown sugar" I actually meant "Daily Kings" for some reason I keep thinking it's called Brown Sugar, someone told me that one day and it stuck. It is quite delicious though, and superior to Butterfinger
Butterfinger Pancakes - Thumbs Down! Being a recent implant in Bundang (3 weeks ago), I took my family to Butterfinger pancakes to quench our desire for a good pancake brunch. Forgettabout it! We will never go there again. Sausage patty was like chewing shoe leather and a stack of their signature Butterfinger pancakes costing over $10 was 2 measly pancakes no bigger than my hand. Pathetic. However, we did find a decent western diner that serves very good brunch (with potatoes!!). It's called Daily King's Diner. It's a block and a half south of I-Park Bundang apartment and on the 8th floor. A little pricey, but if there are 4 of you, then order one "big" breakfast with the pancakes (3 come with it), one regular omelette and definitely order the French toast; you can share and be satiated of your hunger afterwards. For this order with coffee, you're looking at about $50-$60. I think it's a little pricey b/c just like the many cafes in Korea, you can stay there as long as you want. I do believe that the coffee is bottomless also, so get your caffeine fix. Where is Brown Sugar? I want to compare to Daily King's. Enjoy! And love the blogs. I'll be referring to them for my future trips with the family. 안녕!
eh i dont know. i like playing with the macro lens but it's not great on this camera. It's decent but i would like something better, especially for when i travel to Thailand and Cambodia.
One of the many English teachers living in Korea. My primary goal is to travel. To see as many things in Asia as I can, eat as many exotic foods as my stomach will allow, and breathe the air of many foreign lands. ... full info
