St-Peray bubbly

You're killing me!
Baguette, brie and bubbly - it doesn't get any better than that - except if you're having it in France!!

Shopping in Valence

Great picture of the quaint winding streets. I'll bet the shopping was great but expensive.

I love reading about your trip and wish we were there with you. Your day yesterday to watch the Tour was awesome, and I would have been just like Lori with the heights. Have a great trip and thanks for keeping us posted.

Hi from Vernon
Sounds like you guys are having a great time. I am very jealous. I will need to talk to you guys about going to France like this too. I hope l'alpe d'huez was fun. My email is still the same so I don't know why you can't email me. Nigel, send me more pics. You look like you have really lost lots of weight. How's it going?

We were looking forward to the 2 of you going local......speedo for Nigel and topless for Lori - maybe when you go back next week - I mean after all you are in the south of France! BTW, it's 37 degrees here today with the humidity it feels like 48 (we're breaking all sorts of records)- great time not to be here!

Tour of French wines.
Great idea - we are going to attempt the bottle a day challenge. It'll be interesting to see if we can get these here (if not, we'll have to decide on a reasonable alternative). Absolutely horrible toilet - I'm with Rachel, yuck! 8 roundabouts in less than 1 km and then a triangle-about - OMG. Great pictures - enjoy the brie & camembert.

Twisty Ass
Now you're talking! Museums and culture are one thing. Finding a twisty ass in the heart of Holland is another. Thanks for sharing. I've been looking all over and couldn't find any over on this side of the pond. Looks like you're having some fun!

You should have a caption contest for that one photo. Ours may be: "Hungry enough to eat gull!" or maybe "Nigel's flippin' the bird."

i like waffles!
Glad to hear you like Belgium. I was there with the military in '93. Stayed in Eupen and I believe it's spelled Heubach. I loved that every small community had it's own brewery. God bless cheap but amazingly good belgian beer. Canadian tax payers would revolt if they saw what the rest of the beer drinking nations paid for beer.
