Paris with kids Sounds challenging! Poor little Lucy! Thank God for Grandparents!
Some awesome photos Nick and Alicia. Hope things get better as you settle into the holiday vibe. Are you going into the countryside at all? It might be more relaxed away from the big smoke.
At least the beer will be good. I'm currently enjoying Nomad Brewing Co's "Long Trip Saison" :)
If Lucy is very brave she might like the catacombs. Our kids loved them but maybe too scary for younger children...
I look forward to more posts! Salut et Joyeux Noël!
Blogs Wow, you two are amazing. I will truly miss receiving these blogs - they have been wonderful and inspirational. I have no doubt that your next five year plan will be as exciting as the last and look forward to sharing in at least a small part of your next five years.
Madrid Segovia Toledo Once again a great Blog Yes we loved all of these places too but wished we'd had more time. Tours give you an overview only. Having been to Spain it would be very easy to do on your own (we realise with hindsight)
Spain Cordoba Granada Gibraltar It all sounded wonderfully familiar having done a tour to these places. However you probably saw more having time on your side as you do on your own. As you say 'must see destinations' for sure.
las Vegas Vegas sounds amazing Can't wait to see it one day.You saw so much in a short time
Thanks for another detailed report I love reading what you've seen. Will have to look at all your photos.
hi Hi Alicia and Nick. glad to see you have enjoyed you world tour. Hope your both well back in OZ especially with the local trouble you have been having. its been great reading about your adventures. hope to hear from you soon.
Greetings hope you've enjoyed in Spain. Madrid, Segovia and Toledo are amazing cities where you can also eat well.
Everyone who comes to Spain repeats!
I recommend it to everyone.
By the way, congratulations for the outstanding blog you have written.
Greetings.

India Holiday Tour Packages Travel Operators Delhi Rajasthan Jaipur Kerala This is a beautiful blog. This picture is very interesting and beautiful. The Roman Terrace House is very beautiful place in Turkey.
Tuscany & italy Blog Your time on the farm would have had me ranting to Vanni, going off my brain at Anna and walking out!! I certainly hope that you spell it out in black and white on the website so that some other poor unsuspecting people don't fall for the very false advertising. However enjoyed your Blog as usual Look forward to the rest of your Spain.Love- Mum
re:Turkey Tour Hi
thanks for the comments on my blog, I'm glad I helped you make a decision on Turkey.
It was excellent, try to look out the window more than I did on the coach/ bus because there are some amazing rural scenes!
happy travels
Nick
:) GReat post and amazing pictures, thank you for sharing! I really enjoyed it. Turkey is no doubt a country with rich history and lots of things to see. I travel back and forth from England to Turkey work related and unfortunately haven't had the time to enjoy it but I'm considering going there on a vacation so the info was very useful. I have only been to Istanbul so far and it's extremely interesting city. The only thing I don't like about it is how often I have problems with last minute bookings. It's not a nice experience to be searching for a place in the middle of the night therefore now I always call to confirm my reservation. It might be pricey so I use a call service which provides cheap calls to Turkey Its fast, cheap and easy to use. And be careful for the ‘nazar boncuk’ or ‘evil eye' :)

Turkey Vacation Looks like you had a lot of fun! Speaking of being reasonably priced, I found an affordable “Grand Tour of Turkey” vacation from Cosmos. Thank you for your inspiration! My jealousy of your trip motivated me to plan my own tour of Turkey!
Cappadocia sights We never descended as far as you did down in the Underground City. I felt too enclosed. It was fascinating though . We loved Goreme valley and all the rock formations and fairy chimneys. Its a place in the world not to be missed.
Photographers heaven !!
ballon ride Cappadocia So glad you did the balloon ride You commented on the low cost??? It cost us a fortune when we did it!! Yes it is the most amazing experience over such a unique place with 70 other balloons up .Loved the photos. We were surprised by the stillness of the ride too There's no way anyone could feel frightened up there. We loved the landing and the celebration drink at the end. All smiles.
Turkey Tour Great tour and so reasonably priced - It brought back good times for us. Very envious of you seeing the Roman house excavations in Ephesus The whole area was tent roofed and out of bounds when we were there. Yes we agree that Gallipoli was a very moving place. So glad that Pergamum was a highlight for you Good on you for donning the leather at the fashion parade and having a go at the belly dancing !! Your trip did the same as ours but we saw more of Turkey with our extra days. Shame about the lousy weather at Pamukule - the terraces look spectacular in brilliant sunshine. Turkey is well worth a visit.
Istanbul blog So glad you loved Istanbul Sad that we missed the mosaics in St Chora there My research hadn't unearthed that one! However we were able to take photos inside the Dolmabahce palace They must have stopped it. I remember at the time my camera flash kept going off and the guide wasn't too happy about it !!(I have since mastered the NO flash setting!!) Yes the Spice markets were better than the Grand bazaar.Guess you missed the sultans boats in the Maritime museum next to the Dolmabahce? a shame. Great Blog.
Alicia and I are Australians who are revisiting Europe with our beautiful children Lucy (5) and Roman (3)
We are taking a five week holiday through France, Germany, and the UK to revisit favourite sites
