So last night I went to a local pub to watch the football and chill out for a while played some pool and had a few drinks. The place had wifi so I booked a flight from Krabi down south to Kuala Lumpa to avoid a two day journey of hell but more importantly to avoid the regular bombings and kidnapps that happen in the most southern points in Thailand between Muslim extremists. The travel people refused to sell me a bus/train ticket to cross the border because they didn't want me to get hurt... Aww. Also the flight worked out cheaper as it cost £26 lol against the total faff of train, bus, ferry, bus, train which was £45. So yeah that's all done. So... where to begin!!! I left Bangkok at about 6pm on the worst coach ride of my life!!! 13 hours it took, leather seats.. not good when your a million degrees and dripping like you've just had a shower... nothing is worse than sticking to leather!! The air con was broke which really annoyed an american guy who shouted about it for about half hour. Then the lights went out which annoyed him even more, never have i seen someone so stressed about such a small thing as to lights!! Seriously was crazy! Tried to negotiate round the small space i had to get into a fairly comfy position to try and get some sleep but with very little luck, i thought i was lucky to have a double seat, how very wrong i was... Hey everone :) So... 2nd day here!! Its really hot today, very humid but its great.. We moved hostel today to a fan room (no more air-con) but its alot cheaper than the 1st place... Last night alot happened after my blog so ill let you know the key parts, we went to where Toms gym was which is also a red light district!! So when Tom was in the gym i went wondering, found a place to eat, met some english folk and then read the lonely planet, then tom came out, went and got some food and then we went to a "show" ill miss out the details but if you wanna ask me when im home im sure ill remember, wasn't at all my cup of tea but i did have an interesting ... read more

So... I'm sitting in heathrow airport, said goodbye to mum and dad, nick and kim. I nearly cried but managed to hold it in. My tounge bar set the metal detectors off again, alway a fun one. I'm really excited but my heart is beating a million beats a second, I'm more nervous than I have ever been but I no that the fact I'm at the airport has shocked the nation. My flight leaves at 10.15, it lands in Bangkok at 3.30pm local time, it's about 33c which will probably kill me.
