Maine, New Hampshire, & Vermont

Pursuing our goal of hiking in all of the states that the AT goes through, Anne and I traveled to Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont in mid October to check off the last three New England states. We flew into Portland, Maine, then drove to three small towns near each of the areas where we wanted to hike. Our first two nights were spent in Rangeley, ME, then two nights in Fairlee, VT, near the New Hampshire border, then to East Dorset, VT, near Dartmouth University. I'll add a page for each of the three states with a few pictures and a short description of the hikes we tried to do there.
