It certainly is!! Got here on the beautiful island of Phu Quoc on Friday ... and it is gorgeous. Staying at an amazing place called Mai House right on the beach. Got a little bungalow with a seaview ... treating the wife y'know to a bit of luxury ... well it is 30 quid a night! The island itself is still at the unspoilt level - not that many hotels, the beach we are on is called Long Beach... and it's pretty long as the name suggests! Had some amazing food - being an island the seafood is yummy... prawns the size of your arm! Hey - we arrived safely in Ho Chi Minh City after a whopping 16 hours flying ... and a couple of hours just waiting to fly! Spent the first couple of days there in the sunshine, sipping expensive cocktails in 5 star bars ... 4 quid a pop - i know how to treat me missus!! We are now in Hoi An, arriving yesterday and have a lovely hotel - the town has recently flooded and the water reached waist high! ... luckily this was before we got here ... altho the way it's going i think we may reach that again!!
