I made it to Quito with only a 2 hour delay on the last flight. I gathered my luggage and headed toward customs. Everything went smoothly. I found Patricio from the Jatun Sacha Foundation near the entrance holding a sign with my name on it. I was happy to find that there was another volunteer that had arrived on my flight as well! Her name was Robyn, from England, and her sister was to join us the next day. Patricio drove us to the hostel..the first thing I noticed was the traffic laws, or lack thereof.
